Fall Collections 2009
By the Muse on October 1, 2009
The Muse is obviously in style this season considering bolder eyebrows are so in. Indeed, my brows are as unruly as a jungle habitat. My friend Mai tells me she’d killed for my brows…I’d kill to rid myself of them. I don’t feel so alone anymore as have you seen the brows on Paul Wesley aka Stefan Salvatore from Vampire Diaries. That kid got all kinds of hairy boldness going on above his eyes but he still manages to look sexy….I just look unkempt…must be his good genes or he’s using Clarins Pro Palette Eyebrow Kit to keep all it all in shape and together. It could happen right?
As for this Muse she got her hands on a Clarins Pro Palette Eyebrow Kit to test out. As if I need eyebrow powder to make these brows look at crazier than they already are right?
But readers who need to define brows and shape ‘em up will rejoice as this handy little palette contains everything you need for getting unruly, thin, or troublesome eye brows in shape.
Check it after the jump!

Hey lovies!
The Muse happened to be in Sephora a few days ago and had a peep at the new Philosophy makeup display. Remember how they used to have the skincare against the wall and the shower gels kinda hanging out in a middle rack? At least that’s how mine had it. Anyway…..it’s still like that but now they have an entire display for the cosmetic line. I thought this was rather exciting as I’m hopeful it means good things are coming our way from Philosophy. They really seemed to pay special attention to their color cosmetic line this Fall so maybe they’ll consider releasing more items next season.
Anyway!
‘Nuff of my babblings. How about a Philosophy review to celebrate?
Ahhh the moonlight, isn’t it terribly romantic? A touch on your face creates an instant highlight and a beautiful finish. How can we bottle up the moonlight for our faces?
With Philosophy the Supernatural Moonlight! Instant traces of a luminous glow for your cheeks and face all bottled up with a sponge applicator for easy application.
Loves it!

MAC you excel at so many things but why do you continue to fail in the mascara world. The Muse hasn’t yet met a mascara from MAC that she actually liked.
Ugh.
Your new MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara has one incredible factor about it but it doesn’t make up for the other woes it causes.
Jump ahead for my take.

You never really think that a brand can go and take something you really love and make it into something even better. For example have you seen many movie sequels in your life that are actually good? I can only name a few.
Thus the idea of taking a product and re-releasing it with a new formula automatically makes a the Muse skeptical. How can it possibly be as awesome as the first round?
It’s possible. MAC Dazzleglass Creme is proof of that.
Take the jump for a sneak peek!
