I have a pack of Urban Decay Urban Lashes in my vanity drawer but haven’t applied them yet. I scared. Falsies are SO not my best friends. Seriously, when I try to apply false lashes it normally evolves a call to 911 and the Wambulance arriving at my house.
Fictional call to 911 (dramatized for entertainment purposes):
911: Yes, 911 what’s your emergency?
the Muse: HELLO, 911!!??!?!?!
911: Yes, 911 what’s your emergency?
the Muse: OMGZ! I think I poked my eye out trying to apply my false lashes.
911: Ma’am, is your eyeball inside your head still?
the Muse: Yes, I think it is but it has a set of lashes lying on top of it.
911: Ok, ma’am don’t panic we’ll send over a pack of Urban Decay Urban Lashes, because, after all, a 7 year old can apply these.
the Muse: I dunno, do you have any that a 2 year old can apply? That’s about my skill level.
911: Ma’am, you might need that Wambulance if you’re that bad off.

So off the topic of makeup but have you tried Wonka Exceptionals Fruit Marvels. OMG Loves! I nicked a tin from my friend’s purse about two weeks ago and I’ve ever after been a Fruit Marvels addict. It’s fruity crack people! First off, seriously, someone should send a memo to Willy Wonka that the website stinks. After inhaling my first tin of these bad boys I proceeded to WANT more and my search around drugstores was uneventful, I came back empty handed, no delicious candy crack to be had. So like a good techy geek I logged on to the Wonka site (www.wonka.com) and they make no mention of these around (granted, I didn’t register but still!? WTH? Where’s the deets on this candy crack!?). They mention the Wonka Exceptionals Chocolates but nada about Fruit Marvels.
Horror.
So far, haven’t had much lucky scoring anymore. Sad, irritated little pout but I hear they might be available in other flavors, that makes me want to put a little extra effort into my search.
Oh sorry you wanted deets what they taste like right? I got the Pomegranate ones and they are basically a hard shelled candy, kinda like a sucker of some sort, that are filled with a jelly, liquid-y center kinda Turkish Delight-like. Turkish Delight is one of my fav sweets of all times, buy me some and I’m yours, so this could be why Fruit Marvels appealed so much to me as they have the same sort of concept going on, sugary coated deliciousness.
Anyway, ’nuff ’bout candy and the likes. Let’s get on with the makeup eh?
L’Oreal has introduced the Stars Never Fail Lipcolour Compact Collection for Fall 2010 which includes personally selected shades from Beyonce, Andie MacDowell, Diane Keaton, Eva Langoria Parker, Kate del Castillo, and Linda Evangelista. L’Oreal wanted to go with a diverse group of women that represented various age groups, styles, and ethnicities. I think it’s safe to say the concept of going with such a wide range of various women is really a great idea considering makeup junkies come in sorts of shapes, sizes, ages, and colors, don’t we?

I’ve been stalking the Balm daily to see if they release anything new. I sweat that brand so hard. I was kinda hopeful they’d surprise us with a new blush like last year’s Down Boy but sadly no such luck.

Ha! Relief!
Why? Because I won’t be splurging on any LE Fall Collections from Victoria’s Secret this year. Phew! Money saved. I normally adore the Victoria’s Secret Limited Edition Seasonal Releases but this year I’m not really feeling the love for the new palette releases and unless they release something more I’m pretty safe!

I gotta say I’ve been hooked on Clarins lippies since trying out Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer. Ever after that faithful day I’ve been a devote follower of Clarins lip products.
