Avon Healthy Makeup Eyeshadow are currently $4.99 each so I hauled a few out of morbid curiosity to see if I liked them. Some of the shades looked really nice in the online swatches on Avon’s site plus I’ve discovered some hidden love for cream shadows the past year or two.
If you’re on a budget you might want to check these out, they are pretty nice.

If you’ve been burning and yearning for The Skin Food Salmon Dark Circle Concealer Cream but had no way to purchase it because it’s available in Korea, you might want to check out Pixi Correction Concentrate as it’s a pretty decent dupe of Skin Food’s version and you can get it at your local Target too!
Dark circles are the worst and many people suffer from them and seek out the best possible way to conceal them. Many makeup artists will tell you the best way to diffuse darker circles is by adding in peach or yellow concealer to correct the darkness.
This is what Pixi Corruption Concentrate is meant to do. Diffuse, erase, and brighten using a peach base.
Does it work?

Lorac Private Affair Palette was one of the very first palettes that caught my fancy late this Summer when I saw it introduced as part of the Lorac Fall Collection 2010.
The palette is exclusive to Sephora is $38 and has six shadows, primer, and a brush which is housed in a rather slick, sexy little faux croc compact.
I think the shades called out to me most, actually one in particular, which was a gorgeous plumm-y wine. I really feel like Lorac is a bit understated and doesn’t get nearly enough love, they seriously have some killer offerings and the Private Affair Palette seemed like one such awesome offering.
Let’s have a look!
