The Tarina Tarantino Beauty Collection has been recently extended at Sephora to include a new range of Jewel Shadow Palettes. These palettes used to be reserved for special seasonal releases as you might recall the shape and size of the oval compact is reminiscent of last year’s Holiday 2010 Palette.
This is now a standard part of the collection and has replaced the single eyeshadows that the brand used to offer. I personally like the idea of a palette rather than a single shade as it offers variety or a single look with contrasting shades of shadow.
I’m a huge fan of the newly revamped packaging as well since it’s a bit slicker and more mature. I decided to review each of the shades separately that I have since the formula seemed to vary from palette to palette.
Let’s take a peek at the Jewel Shadow Palette in Delightful today.

Word on the street is the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 Palette are quite the hit. And really why wouldn’t they be? I have my little stash of loose mineral shadows from BE but let’s face it they are the fall out demons from hell. I hate having to clean up fall out because hello, how impossible. I’ve tried tape tricks, powder under the eye trick, etc…etc…even eyeshadow shields which are sometimes a gift from the beauty tool Gods in these situations but fall out, such a pain.
Bare Minerals makes some might fine shadows but having them pressed up into a compact, well, that’s the best thing I’ve experienced in the beauty world since the introduction of Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Let’s take a peek and find out what’s so fab about ‘em!

I’ll be the first one to admit I spend alot of my drugstore makeup life with my nose up in the air. I used to be very snotty about what kind of brands I purchased but as Musings grew so did I and I now embrace alot more drugstore makeup however it doesn’t mean that I don’t nitpick most of it apart and find flaw in almost all of it. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for.
On the upside….sometimes you score such a great deal you wanna share it with the world. I happen to be blessed enough to have the ability to share it with a few thousand people a day here on my site when I really like something. The same people who share my love of makeup. I can’t tell you how fun that is.
My recent great deal?
The new L’Oreal Project Runway Blushes. Wow, these are awesome.

Tarina you have grown up girl!
Tarina Tarantino Beauty has undergone a very sophisticated, mature make over. The beauty collection featured pink and silver packaging for its original launch with crystal embeds. I personally squealed when they launched the brand at Sephora because, well, obviously right? It was pretty, pink, and sparkly…..my repertoire as a beauty junkie.
I had nothing against the packaging and loved it. It was so very Tarina and so very girly girl.
Flash forward to Fall 2011 and Tarina Tarantino Beauty has gotten a sophisticated new make over. Not only are you getting great new packaging but also quality makeup…I’m utterly in love with Tarina Tarantino Beauty Conditioning Lip Sheens. Why I never tried these with the original packaging is beyond me but I’m going to say you NEED these.
