NARS Larger than Life Lipgloss in Rouge Tribal crossed over my desk last week from the NARS Fall 2012 Collection. I was quite excited about this shade as it looked like a rusty red shade with a warmth that I could pull off.
I never really liked red before purchasing MAC Queen’s Sin and every after that I’ve been obsessed with finding perfect shades of red that suit my skin tone. Much to my delight Givenchy Fluid Foundation Airy Light Mat Radiance ($51) has launched at Sephora. I’m a rather big fan of the new breed of “second skin” foundations that keep launching as they are so incredibly lightweight and enhance skin tone without actually looking like you have makeup on at all.
Shiseido’s Perfect Refining Foundation and Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup are two of my very favorite foundation products at the moment so I’m quite eager to check out Givenchy’s version which looks very similiar.

They purposely tempt you with little buckets of makeup joy as you head for the register to pay for your purchases. They glare are you, whispering to take them home as you patiently wait in line.
Seriously, there’s some strategic calculations going on here so when you see a display of Beauty Rush by the cash register, just know it’s a marketing trick to tempt you and MAKE you buy them.

Too Faced Lash Injection Extreme Tubing Mascara ($21) is the brand’s revamp of their popular Lash Injection formula. I wasn’t particularly keen on the original Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara in all honesty but I’m always terribly curious when a brand relaunches a cult favorite in a new formulation.
I think for me Lash Injection fell into two groups, people who really loved it and others that didn’t get the happiness and joy from use. I fall into the “I don’t get it?” group.
However, being the junkie I am I decided to give their new formatted Lash Injection Extreme Tubing Mascara a whirl.

I’m constantly reminded of George Carlin whenever I head into the Container Store or I come across some new box, drawer, or container. It seems the meaning of my life is finding a place to put my stuff or in this case my beauty and makeup goodies.
