Holiday Collections 2008
It’s my personal favorite time of the year….can you by chance guess what time of the year that would be?
It would be the announcement of the Lush Christmas 2008 Collection!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh the Muse is running around in circles in utter excitement! You’ve no idea how excited I get when Lush puts out it’s offerings for Christmas!
Before you get excited, let me tell you that Lush’s Christmas Collection is ONLY available on Lush UK’s website so far. I suspect you’ll see an update for Lush NA around the beginning or middle of November! Yes, you can order from Lush UK if you’re within the US and this is normally what I do as 1. I’m impatient and 2. I like the quality of UK Lush a bit better when compared to the US.
Lush has brought some odd favorites back and PLENTY of brand new items that are sure to please!
Returning Bath Bomb Favorites:
Twinkle, Mister Butterball, and Jingle Spells
Brand Bath Bombs:
Humango, Magic, and Snowdrops
Returning Bubble Bar Slices:

These are just some of the great Christmas items that Lush has released as part of their Holiday Collection! They are slowly updating the site to include the rest! Brand new box gifts, hat boxes, and other smaller gifts are available as well as old favorites are making a reappearance!
Lush Cosmetics never fails at putting out a wonderful array of great treats for the Holidays! I’ll definately be indulging for myself and friends and family!

Bath and Body Works has a little sneak peek up of it’s Holiday Collection and I’m actually quite excited about the offerings myself!
Many of the Lambie items offered last year are back this year and I’ll definately be adding a majority of these to my both my own wish list and gift list for friends and family! I was happy to see the revised the Sweetest, Softest Blanket from last year which they have placed a little Lambie emblem on it! So cute! I purchased the Sweetest, Softest Blanket last year and was very happy with it, I’ll definately be indulging in the latest one! This year they also wrapped the blanket up in a beautiful gift giving box! The blanket is $35 USD and possibly the best money you’ll ever spend on such a luxuriously warm blanket, it’s perfect for snuggling on the couch to watch DVD’s or for extra warmth during chilly winter nights! The blanket is available in white or black. Last year I recall wanting to wait to purchase my Sweetest, Softest Blanket till the Semi-Annual Sale and I’m honestly glad I didn’t as they sold out quite quickly towards the middle of December so I highly suggest nabbing this quickly!
Last year when I blogged about the Lambie slippers I got SO many emails asking me about them and it’s no wonder why as they are truly cute! These are available in two styles, a full slipper and a sock slipper. The sock slipper was extremely limited at one time but this past Summer I’ve seen them slowly appear back in shops but I predict both the slippers and the socks will sell out very quickly just like the blanket so do nab them early if you want them!
The slipper socks are a value at $10 USD and come in two colors this year!
The Lambie slippers have been revised lightly with a raised heel that allows the slipper to hug your entire foot. I like this new version as last year I had a little problem with the slipper turning inward! It’s about time for a new pair so I’ll definately be indulging! These are $16 USD and I believe a bit cheaper from last year as I recall paying more but I could be wrong!
The Bath and Body line up isn’t full up and available as of yet but I did come across a few pieces for the Holiday! I’m a sucker for Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint so I was quite excited they extended the scent to the hand soap! I’ll definately be stocking up this! These are $5 USD each and are available in all the traditional Bath and Body Works Holiday scents such as Winter Candy Apple and Vanilla Bean Noel!
One item that didn’t really catch my eye are the new Bath and Body Works Glittering Shower Gels for $11 USD. I’m somewhat bored with the typical scents they release year after year which are Winter Candy Apple and Vanilla Bean Noel! I may indulge in a Twisted Peppermint one however “glittering” shower gel doesn’t seem like something I’d love! Shimmer and glitter in my makeup items, yes, but not in my shower!
You can see more of the Bath and Body Works Holiday Collection 2008 by taking a look at the sneak peek on their website!
A few items so far have definately caught my eye and of course the Lambie items are on my wishy list for sure! I look forward to seeing what else is released for the upcoming season! I’m super disappointed that Bath and Body Works has successfully eliminated the Temptations Collection from both it’s Fall and Holiday Collections, I doubt these will be back ever. The items I’ve featured are available for purchase now online and I’m pretty sure stores must be stocking them too shortly! I haven’t been inside a BBW in a few weeks now but I’m pretty sure they busy stocking these up already or will be soon!

What a girl wants and what a girl needs is more Too Faced makeup!
Ok, so are you naughty or nice? Freak it….go on and be both with the Too Faced Naughty and Nice Set for $29.50 USD
I personally consider myself super nice with a tiny crusty, chewy inside of naughty. How about you? For my nice side I can use the natural, nude shades included with the palette and for my inner naughty side I can deck myself out with a smoked out eye and a sexy red pout! The palette includes two complete sides of color to create a more natural or a sexier evening look. A total of 12 shades make up the palette, 6 shadows and 6 lip creams!
You might want to step up your game a little bit and go for the Too Faced The Jewelry Box Pink Diamond Edition for $39.50 USD! $10 bucks more than the Naughty and Nice Set will get you an array of items to make up face, lips, and cheeks!

Sephora Crystallized Lipstick Collector’s Edition is pretty inside and out! This limited edition lipstick comes housed in a chic black tube embellished with crystal rhinestones in matching with the Sephora Crystallized Palette.
A rather cute quirk of the product is the fact that the cap can be reused and fits most any Sephora Lipstick from the Lip Attitude range!
The lipstick is $22 USD and available now from Sephora.
I’m sure about the price but if the packaging is as pretty in person as it is online, I think it would make a rather nice gift!
Not so much?

The Smashbox Holiday Collection 2008 Rapture is up and available for your purchasing pleasure on the Smashbox site.
I have release information for this that I previously published but I had to remove it and re-post it on October 15th! Sorry guys!
However, the good news is a few of the pieces are up and available on the Smashbox site. I have two of the pieces myself so far that I’ll review for you shortly, I promise they are stunning! Smashbox did a fabulous job with this year’s Holiday collection and all the pink is truly appealing to my girlish side!
Alot of bang for your buck in this collection and some seriously awesome gift sets that you really need to check out for yourself! Click!
Some items appearing on the site so far are:
Smashbox Rapture Lipgloss Set $29 USD
This is one item I’ll be reviewing for you shortly! It contains 6 shimmering shades of gloss which work out to under $5 USD each which is definately a nice steal and a deal!
Here’s one I want to get my hands on! Smashbox Rapture Eye Shadow and Brush Set includes 8 Shadow duos, two brushes, and a pouch for storing it all in for $59 USD! Break it down and you’re paying around $5.90 USD per each piece included not including the sweet pink bag! I need to head to Sephora to check this out for myself as I’m dead curious if the shades are a shimmery finish! If so, expect a review!
Fitting in with all the pink comes the Smashbox Rapture Brush Set for $49 USD which includes 5 Brushes working itself out to roughly $10 USD a brush! Smashbox makes killer brushes so getting five full size at that price is definately a nice deal plus the cute pink carrying case!
Honestly, Smashbox Rapture is possibly my favorite looking Holiday Collection as far as presentation goes so far and is visually pleasing and appealing to my girlish side! I’ll definately be indulging in a few of the pieces! Reviews are coming soon so definately stop back!
