Holiday Collections 2009
Note to self, gold and silver are out this Holiday and purple is in. Anyone notice a bit of a trend developing this Holiday with a heavy emphasis on purple?
Although purple isn’t commonly associated with the festive feel of the Holidays I still think it makes a rather snappy little shade none the less and in some aspects does quite give off a cheerful Holiday vibe. Commonly associated with nobility purple does have a certain chic, elegance that will be ideal for wearing and tearing through parties this season.
Art Deco places purple at the forefront of their new Glamour Noblesse Collection.

How’s everyone this bright, brisk Fall day? Hope everyone had a super weekend and more important, a Happy Halloween!
After many a rumor and much speculation Bath and Body Works Temptations line is back at Bath and Body Works for the Holidays. Joy! I’m always quite the fan of the Temptations line considering it’s a darn cheap ($10) way to get my love of shower gel on.
If you haven’t tried the line before it’s basically a dupe up of Philosophy 3 in 1 Shower Gels which you can use in your shower, bath, or as a shampoo. Bath and Body Works was on a kick for a while there and releasing Temptations nearly ever season but they suddenly stopped. It’s a nice little surprise that this Holiday they have four scents, one of which is an old favorite, Twisted Peppermint.

This Muse is going to party like it’s 1999 with the new Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara. Is it just me or is that like the coolest name ever? You whip it out of the purse and tell your best mate, “Heys, just let me get some of my Extreme Party Mascara on before we go out!” Is that too corny?
Ok, well fact is I adore the name.
Question is do I adore the mascara?

The Muse knows you love to hate her because she gives you a bad case of makeup lemming. Would you be so kind as to let her do it one last time before the weekend starts?
Let me introduce you to the Clarins Palazzo d’Oro Collection. Prepared to be wow’ed girls (and guys) this is probably the most luxurious set this season, nothing has topped it and I’m doubtful anything will.

Today the Muse is all about buffing powder onto my face with the new Sonia Kashuk Twist & Shout Kabuki Brush for Holiday 2009.
It’s ok, it’s ok everyone remain calm I promise I will not go into a long rant about how much I love the Beatles and how Twist and Shout was one of thee greatest songs circa their 60′s era (don’t get me started on the 70′s or John era that story is way too long for this post).
I will bring you some Ferris.
I mean come on how 80′s-tastic was that scene? Almost as good as when he started lipping Wayne Newton’s Danke Schoen.
Bueller, Bueller, Anyone?
