Holiday Collections 2011
Tis the season for sparkle, shimmer, and glitter. Actually that’s an all year event for me but it’s particularly prominent during the Holidays for many.
Lush Lustre is a brand new shimmering dusting powder that’s laced with golden goodness!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Bobbi’s new Party Parfum but I was thinking along the lines of Lush Snowshowers or perhaps a little Philosophy Bubbly, you know, sparkling, effervescent…that’s my thoughts of a party fragrance!
Turns out Bobbi’s Party Eau de Parfum is none of those things but it is interesting and quite unique to say the least.
Let’s peek it!
Nude girls gather round, that sounded a bit perverse but you know what I mean…all the ladies (and lads) that enjoy themselves a nude look with a little flair will adore the new Mark on the Dot Eye Color Compact which features nine shades of metallic eyeshadows in an array of nude, natural shades of brown, plum, and taupe.
Shall we have a look?
The Smashbox Click You’re It Holiday Eye Palette will probably bring back a memory or two from Holiday 2010 as it’s pretty much a very similar palette from last year’s release the only difference being the new packaging.
I don’t have last year’s palette handy but I believe the shades are all different however the packaging, concept, and selection of products is pretty much standard from holidays past.
If you can get jump over the rehash hurdle here you can definitely see the potential of the Click It You’re It Holiday Eye Palette because it’s actually quite a well done selection of colors.
Avon fans might want to check out their new Go Glam Color Palette for the Holidays. This one features two tiers for lips, eyes, and cheeks and has a budget friendly price tag.

Laura Geller has a few delightful Holiday Gift Sets available exclusively at QVC, one in particularly that caught me eye is her liner set…
Remind me again why I don’t need more eyeliners?
Girl Scout Cookies are indeed made by the Devil…well, technically, probably his minions since he’s a bit busy to go around cooking cookies. I imagine Dean and Sammy Winchester had their turn at the old Girl Scout Cookie assembly line down in hell while they were visiting and none other than Crowley was cracking the whip while they put the finishing touches on a Thin Mint.
Mmmm mmm tasty! But we should always fight back against the evil of Girl Scout Cookies because they are loaded with sugar, fat, carbs, and possibly Winchester hair (in that case I’d eat and savor it, mad fan girl moment).
But no worries about calories in a Girl Scout Cookie Lip Smackers, those were created by Makeup Gods thus they lack all the bad stuff.
Jane Iredale’s traditional Chocoholicks Set gets a revamp this year in a new palette.
These normally come in individual balm pots but this year the Jane Iredale Chocoholicks Lip Set is a palette!
This palette features four chocolaty shades in a single slip compact with a retractable lip brush.
- Blood Orange is a shimmering copper gloss pairing the flavors of deep, dark chocolate and zingy blood orange.
- Espresso is a sultry, rich brown gloss tasting of bold, smooth mocha.
- Very Berry is a sheer plum gloss and tastes of luscious berries dipped in chocolate.
- Chili Pepper is a wearable red gloss combining sweetness and spice with the flavors of dark chocolate infused with exotic chilies.
I need it!
