A few of the Bourjois Paris International portals have been updated including the Japanese one with a brand new Lip Creme entitled So Delicate.
Bourjois Paris So Delicate will be available in six shades and is a gentle cream formula that glides onto lips like a lipstick leaving behind a matte pigmented finish for supposedly eight hours of wear.
Bourjois Paris So Delicate is available now in Japan, Russia, the Nederlands, and France. It should arrive shortly in the UK I’m sure.
Currently the price is set at 2,000 yen, I suspect it’ll be slightly cheaper in the UK but not by much.
It looks quite interesting and it’s something I definitely want to try.

The new Body Shop Spring Collection RoseFlower Makeup is available now on it’s website!
Squee!
I blogged about the collection a few weeks ago but a few items were left out so do jump ahead for more deets on this fine collection!
My original discussion about The Body Shop RoseFlower Makeup Collection included the shadows, lipsticks, face shimmer stick, and blushes. However, two new items I hadn’t discovered are available for purchase as well as part of this collection which are a brand new Shimmer Cubes Set and a Matte Shimmer Cheek Color.
The Body Shop Shimmer Cubes Set is $22 USD and includes a very nice selection of colors including shimmering green, white gold, pink and grey. I think it’s actually one of the nicest shade selections I’ve seen yet released in the Shimmer Cubes!
The second item that I didn’t mention in my original post is the new Body Shop Matte & Shimmer Cheek Color which is $17.50 USD and is a mosaic pressed powder in shades of peach and pink that range from matte to shimmer combining to create a glowing cheek look!
My eye is still on that blush in Fusia! I’m looking forward to seeing the collection in it’s entirety at The Body Shop as a few pieces have caught my eye!

OoOooOoo! New Tarte Dark Circle Defense Under Eye Corrector!
Help banish dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines with Tarte’s new paraben-free concealer!
Sly grin.
The Muse must haves some. Exclusive to QVC at the moment this set includes the concealer and brush for $32 USD, Item Number A89539
I imagine it’ll pop up sooner or later at Sephora and on Tarte’s website but not with the brush included so it’s probably a good deal to get the set.
I haven’t ordered it yet but it’s on my radar so expect a review soon!

We fell in love with MAC Cremesheen Lipstick this past fall and now MAC is reintroducing the collection with some new shades and some old favorites. Watch your MAC counter in February for the release of MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in eight shades!
Now I’m off to figure out the best way to use Lavender on my lips…hmmmmmmmmmmm……..I aim to do Twiggy proud with my moddy purple look!

The Muse so needs to try out Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Concealer!
Have you see these? Check it!
I rarely get excited about drugstore cosmetics but this looks promising to say the least. When I was purchasing my cheese mascara at Walgreens I ran across a display of these but sadly all the lighter shades were sold out.
I’m generally curious about the product as it reminds me of Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown’s dual concealers which has the creamy concealer on top and a silky white setting powder on the bottom. I’m not sure but that Flickr photo says $12.79 USD and don’t quote me but I could have sworn it was $8.99 USD around these parts.
Must. have. it. now.
Honestly, it seems promising to say the least and hopefully I can locate it as I’m highly curious if it’s worth the splurge! You know me, concealer gets me happy!
Anyone try?
Do share!
We have Buxom Lips so who says we can’t have Buxom Lash?
Not I.
Count me intrigued! I generally like Bare Escentuals mascaras (not the ones with the kits though!) so I think I could like Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash.
12 hours of wear without clumping all while darkening lashes with a rich pigment, lengthening, and thickening delivering a bigger, fuller lash look toe eyes.
Supposedly volumizes lashes up to 300%!
Sure does sound promising.
The Muse obviously needs some! Check back for a review soon I’m sure!

If you weren’t particularly a big lover of MAC Dazzleglass you might be relieved and happy to see MAC’s latest release entitled MAC Cremesheen Glass.
The Muse wonders if Dazzleglass nay sayers even exist….naaa, can’t be!
Jump ahead for a sneak peek at MAC Cremesheen releasing from MAC February 5th, 2009.
As I was saying if by some strange, weird chance you weren’t loving all the sparkle and shimmer of MAC Dazzleglass, you’ll be pleased with the release of MAC Cremesheen part of the MAC Cremeteam Collection which includes eight brand new shades of gloss in a brand new formula.
If a creamy, dreamier formula of lipglass is what you crave minus any sparkle and shimmer look no further as MAC Cremesheen has you covered. The two colors I tried are of medium pigmentation and quite a lovely creamy texture that glides onto lips leaving behind a glossy pout with a hint of gorgeous color. The texture is considerably less sticky compared to a regular MAC Lipglass but still manages to have a thick, creamy consistency that’s ideal for keeping lips moist and shiny!
I tried out Looks like Sin which is a nice solid maroon red and Petite Indulgence (my fav of the two!) which is a popping bubblegum pink.
Although I prefer my glosses with a hint of shimmer or sparkle I can’t deny that MAC Cremesheen’s are quite a nice little indulgence. I’m looking forward to the release to see what other colors tempt me!
Looking forward to the MAC Cremesheen release?

Who was it that said if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again! It was actually W.C. Fields..my mum would be proud and stuff for knowing that type of trivia! She’s some sort of big supporter of W.C. Fields….shrug.
Anyway. The moral of the story is that most times, with makeup, I don’t try, try again. If I use something and it fails to work the first time I’m normally tossing it across the room and sighing in frustration. This actually happened recently with the brand new Urban Decay Cream Shadow released for Spring.
Oh my god…so frustrating and irritating as hell to apply! I was at my wits end and trying again was NOT an option.
Read ahead to find out why…
Cream shadows are not a new product as Urban Decay actually had the line a few years ago but it was discontinued from the main catalog and slowly disappeared to wherever unwanted makeup goes (the land of misfit toys maybe?). I actually can’t recall trying the cream shadows back then but it’s fitting as I was on my passionate dislike of all things cream at the time.
As of recent the Urban Decay Spring Collection has reintroduced cream shadow to the scene in twelve new bold, vibrant shades. Exciting for me as I’m now Miss fan girl when it comes to cream shadows!
After getting my haul of cream shadows I quickly uncapped, swatched, and proceeded to be delighted by the awe aspiring vibrant shades! These were special! Shimmery, vibrant, bold, and pigmented makes a girl happy indeed. The formula manages to be creamy and thick yet also have a thin consistency…trying to explain exactly would do my head in just trust me that the formula carries some interesting aspects. All 5 shades I tried were extremely pigmented which made me quickly eager to test on my eye.
And test I did and disappointed I was. Oh my god! To say they sucked was an understatement. After layering the product on my eye I proceed to pat and blend with my fingertip which causes the product to streak, slide off, and create one big hot mess. I was so frustrated after 10 minutes of trying to get fifty layers of product to look somewhat presentable on my eye! No matter how I blended the shadow simply would NOT stay on my eye and presented a streaky strange mess. I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I was. I couldn’t help but feel amazingly impressed with my swatches but what the hell was going on during application? The shadows quickly sailed across the room and luckily didn’t land in the trash bin at the rate I was going.
After a week of sulking I did something I never do…I tried again. To my utter delight I finally figured out the correct and proper way to get the product on and boy was I ever happy because the finished results were stunning!
So there is a trick to application…listen closely and you’ll fall in love with Urban Decay Cream Shadows like the Muse soon enough minus her initial frustration. No fingertips required…that’s the key to application. Do not, I repeat do not try to blend with your fingertips! The shadows come in a tube with an attached sponge applicator you’re going to be very thankful for the sponge tip applicator as it layers product and creates a deeply pigmented, shiny eye look. To start the application prep with Urban Decay Primer Potion, wait to dry a few seconds, and proceed to layer Urban Decay Cream Shadow in the color of your choose onto your lid. Start slowly and follow your lid up to the crease with one layer. Wait a few seconds until the product is slightly dry and proceed to apply a second layer of the shadow, wait a few more seconds, and complete with one last layer. One layer is perfectly fine but I find that the product blends into the crease much better and creates a super intense eye look with three layers in place. With lighter shades you can pat a tiny bit with your finger tip but with darker shades don’t bother as it streaks so stick to using the sponge applicator for application. Possibly sounds strange and maybe difficult to do but the fact of the matter is the sponge applicator works fantastically well at applying the product correctly minus the streaking and mess I get with my fingers the first time around.
After using the sponge applicator for application I ended up with a fantastic eye look that was bold, vibrant, and shimmery! Yums!
As I mentioned I tried out five of the shades but I def want to add more to my little stash! The colors I tried were:
- Weeds-Smoky dark, forest green
- Whipped-Shimmering Peach
- Radium-Metallic Blue
- Sphynx-Shimmering pink with silver
- Midnight Rodeo-Pink champagne beige
Weeds was a particularly favorite as it gives me a smoked eye green eye look that lends a certain mystery to my brown eyes. I also adored Midnight Rodeo as it’s such a unique shade that’s a cross between pink and beige, I’m hoping we’ll see this in powder form one day soon! And finally I was loving Whipped as it has a ton of lovely shimmer and is quite different from any of the other peach shades in my collection.
All in all after my dramatic start I ended up falling quite in love with these and I’m Muse Approving them for purchase! Remember if at first they don’t work try, try again as the Muse promises after practice you’ll get the knack of application!
Loves ‘em!

Majolica Majorca Girly Erotica is up and active on the MJ website!
I LOVE the new story! The goth element plus the little spider made me giddy! I think it’s one of the simpler stories they have done on the site as there is nothing to “find” and everything is right there to click on, open, and view.
Nice!
I also noticed they now have a great option as soon as the first page loads which allows you to click a link and this opens the entire general catalog of items available. Great feature.
Love the goth element, love the spider, but the collection is meh at best! Pretty disappointed about the lack of items available but I’ll survive.
GWP? Cutes! Love me some spiders!
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus is the brand new mascara releasing for Spring which I will pick up for sure.
Also available are two new Majolica Majorca Honey Plump Glosses and finally Majolica Majorca Pressed Pore Cover Face Powder.
Spidey nails!
So you can obviously why I’m lacking excitement. I’ll be snatching up the mascara and I’m debating on the powder as I have several powders from MJ already and I’ll def skip the Honey Plump Glosses as I have at least six to get through already. Very disappointed at the lack of palettes or lack of virtually anything for the eyes aside from the mascara.
It’s really a bare minimal collection and I’m a tiny bit shocked they didn’t go further with it.
Economy do you think?
Hmmmm…the Muse is sad. I need a hug!
If you’re interested in reading the story you can check back to see if the Singapore site updates as that will be in English. At the moment the I am Gorgeous promo is still live so you’ll have to see in a few weeks if it changes.
