Higher levels of SPF are typically found in tinted moisturizers. Seems like SPF remains the most stable in tinted moisturizers and wears the best. I notice anything with a high level of SPF in a foundation either gives my face a white cast or ends up separating the foundation formula.
I do think that, what I dubbed the “year of the SPF”, will continue this Summer with foundations sporting higher and higher sun protection. Last Summer, SPF took front seat and we saw SPF products with levels of 50 and above. The year before, it seemed 30 and under were the trend. Granted, this is within the US of course.
Lucky enough, someone finally woke up, and last Summer we saw some great products with higher levels of SPF than ever before.
That’s why I’m quite excited to check out the new Philosophy Divine Flawless Foundation which sports a whooping SPF 50. This is possibly the highest level of SPF I’ve ever seen in a foundation product here in the US market.
Take a look!

As I suspected, I’m so damn good at predictions, Bare Escentuals has introduced several shades of pressed blush. Bare Escentuals Ready Powder Blush isn’t a great surprise as the introduction of the Ready Eyeshadows was a brief prologue of things to come.
Of course, it is an exciting release simply because people generally enjoy the BE experience but not the messy application so a pressed format of the blush will make application run a bit smoother. Buxom has new pressed blushes as well but I wasn’t particularly keen on them, dare I say they were a little too vibrant for me but I’m quite curious about these.
Take a look, see if any shades call your name! As for me, I’m hoping for a pressed version of Fruit Cocktail, my HG (holy grail) BE blush of choice!

If you’re heading in for a haul on the new Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear Ultra-Smoothing Blush you might want to go with the Natural shade since the Rose is very close, with a minor difference, to the new MatchMaker pH Powered Blush in Rose.
Another words, you simply don’t need both products in the Rose shade *wink*!
Let’s take a peek at this one, see what the good news is.

Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick you’re tickling me today, I want to make you my very own.
It’s not like I need another lipstick, you know right? You get it.
But your tempting, “I’ll go the distance” promise really has me at hello.
Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick promises an extremely long-wearing lipstick with radiant shade. Bold lip color, beautiful shine, a plumping effect thanks to hyaluronic microspheres, and a wear that won’t quick until the lights go out.
Ok, you got me, I’ll indulge.
Available now in 15 fabulous shade some of which are exclusive to Sephora and Sephora.com
Giving in to the urge?
If the $30 price proves to pricy for you, you might want to check out the $4.99 Avon Shine Attract Lipsticks which are on sale now!
What are your current lipstick lemmings?
I actually don’t have lipstick lemmings, it’s one of the few products I don’t get so excited about that I’m hyperventilating. I’m a palette/eyeshadow kinda girl!

Good Morning!
Hope everyone had a nice long weekend. I woke up this morning to the birds singing (seriously, Spring has arrived in New York), a lovely cuppa tea, and the Bobbi Brown Brightening Nudes Collection. All is right with the world.
Brightening Nudes brings back some of my all time favorite eyeshadows shades and a brand new powder that some of us might be terribly excited to get our greedy little hands on.
Take a look, tell me what you think you might NEED!
