Spring Collections 2013
Laura Mercier Black Cherry Lip Glace ($25) is one of 13 brand new Laura Mercier Lip Glace shades launched for Spring 2014. Mind you Black Cherry is kinda a vampy Fall lip color but I don’t care I’ll take Lip Glace in any shade of the rainbow because the formula rocks it.
If you missed the Wet n Wild Spring Forward ColorIcon Palettes the first time around be sure to head to drugstores now as they are popping back up! I located displays at Rite Aid, Harmons, and CVS.
This collection included the Nude Awakening and Going in the Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes for $4.99 each (or less depending where you buy them).
It’s nice to see these back as many people were unable to locate them the first time they launched earlier in the Spring.
If you located them somewhere in particular I hope you’ll share the location as it might be helpful to a fellow reader.
Good Luck locating these!
I’ve been using Yes to Grapefruit Even Skin Tone Moisturizer since it’s early launch for this Spring and was hoping that the promise of eliminating dark spots in as little as four weeks would work for me.
I’m always looking for ways to brighten up my skin and to attach the smaller dark areas I have on my lower jaw line. I’ve had some fairly great success with Philosophy Miracle Worker Miraculous All-Over Brightener and Dark Spot Corrector but Yes to Grapefruit Even Skin Tone Moisturizer is actually a cheaper option and acts as a moisturizer as well.

Ahh you might remember the Lavshuca Candy Pop Shadow from earlier this Spring which launched in Japan. These new single eyeshadows from Japanese brand Lavshuca are a step outside the normal palettes that Lavshuca traditionally releases.
The really unique thing is the fact they come in both matte and shimmer shades. Matte drugstore eyeshadow isn’t terribly common from brands like Lavshuca. I’m not a fan of matte finish myself but the idea of Lavshuca doing matte shades was intriguing.
In the end, I ended up with the sparkly shades hehe…! But I definitely think it’s a fresh step in a new direction for Japanese brands to embrace more matte shades of eyeshadow.

The Sonia Kashuk Textured Mauve Monochrome Eye Quad is one of four new eyeshadow palettes that Sonia Kashuk launched at Target for Spring 2013.
I’ve already reviewed one of these palettes in a prior post and today I thought I’d explore my second favorite shade in this collection, Textured Mauve. Honestly, this is more dusky pink than mauve but either way I’m all about it.
