Wil Wheaton wrote a rather long post about his role as Wesley a few days ago. I swear I spent so much time on Usenet groups, IRC Channels, and Trek forums defending his character to my fellow trekkies it could have been borderline absurd. You know how you think people that fight on Facebook, forums, etc are absolute fools? At some point in my younger Internet life I was that fool, defending Wil Wheaton to the death.
Needless to say his perspective of the character never quite matched up with my own.
I must still be disillusion because no matter how many times I re-watch a Generations episode I still love Wesley. He was a freaking cool character, sorry, but I disagree with the haters (that includes you Wil).
I digress…another one of my fangirl moment stems from the fact Agent Provocateur has introduced a new fragrance. Wil Wheaton, Generations, Star Trek, Agent Provocateur, it’s all fangurlisms to me.
Tarte’s new QVC Today’s Special Value is coming at you next week (February 5th) and includes Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes! Statement Mascara.
I love the original Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara and it’s become an HG (holy grail) for me and it seems like Lights, Camera, Flashes! Statement Mascara is becoming a VERY quick favorite as well. If for nothing else you should indulge in the Journey to Natural Beauty Collection on QVC just to get it.
Ahh the Glinda Palette! Glinda is one of two new Urban Decay Oz inspired palettes that the brand recently launched in collaboration with the Disney film, Oz the Great and Powerful.
I recently reviewed the Theodora Palette for you and must say she’s more my speed. I love the Glinda palette but she’s a more lighter variation which will work well on paler skin tones or those with fairer hair and eyes.
Being a rather huge fan of Diorsnow’s BB Cream I was all about trying out the new Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme. This was launched in four shades recently for Spring 2013.
Although Dior totally gets the concept of BB Cream, as we know from their genius release of Dior Diorsnow UV Shield White Reveal BB Creme, they somehow missed a beat with the new Diorskin Nude BB Creme and the experienced turned into more of a tinted moisturizer experience.
A very sad SPF 10 also joins the mix here (considering White Reveal contains 50, that is quite a jump down)…
Here’s a little teaser video that Sephora posted on youTube for their next princess collection featuring Jasmine. The Disney Jasmine Collection by Sephora launches in March 2013 and will feature many of the same pieces launched with the Cinderella Collection including a new pocket mirror, perfume, and “book” of shadows.
I’m quite excited about the launch as where Cindrella was cooler it appears Jasmine will be the more warmer selection of shades! I’m somehow regretting gifting away the mirror I purchased with the Cinderella Collection as now I want to collect them all. Oh ho the disease of it all!
What do you think?
Did you love Cinderella or are you more of a Jasmine girl?
P.S. Who’s watching Being Human? I fell asleep on last night’s episode after getting in really late. Dammit! Sally’s human, Josh’s is human, and Aidan, well Aidan’s still Aidan!
I just want to get back on board with Tom, Hal, and Alex to be honest…Sally annoys me, there I said it, don’t shoot me. Den of Geeks has interviews with everyone including Micheal should you like something to keep you warm while we await word from BBC America about the launch here! Enjoy!
Milani’s new Color Statement Lipstick is a beauty budgeter’s dream come true. Available in a massive selection of shades this newly launched lipstick features a super low price tag and a fabulously pigmented formula!
