MAC Archie’s Girls, the very eagerly anticipated collection featuring Veronica and Betty from the Archie’s Comics, is launching soon. So soon in fact that MAC already has a sign up sheet on their site. Head to maccosmetics.com and wait for the window to load…you’ll have the option to fill out a form to be alerted as soon as the collection launches.

I imagine a few pieces will sell out fast so signing up might just be a good idea.

I have high hopes for this collection.

Neotrogena recently introduced their new Crease Proof Eye Shadow Sticks ($7.79 at Harmons) for Spring 2013. These are available in six shade selections and promise an all day wear thanks to a built in primer that prevents creasing or fading.

I typically like cream eyeshadow but I’m not really a fan of it in a chubby stick or pencil as in many cases this type of packaging seems to come along with a denser less than creamy eyeshadow. But there are any number of cream eyeshadow pencils that are fairly great out there.

Neutrogena Crease Proof Eye Shadow sounded like a great concept for a quick eye look on the good for me and hey, if it had a built in primer all the better one less step in my rather long beauty regime in the AM.

As you know Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm launched late last week. Urban Decay’s first ever BB Cream leaves a little to be desired in the pigmentation department and acts more as a tinted moisturizer than a BB Cream. This alone had me worried whether I’d rant or rave it, love it or hate it.

However, after trying it out for the past several days I can honestly say it took me by surprise.

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer has launched in two shade selections at drugstores for Spring 2013. As you know from my early post Olay Fresh Effects is a newly launched Skincare Collection that features a few products that should appeal outside Olay’s typical mature age demographic and may gather the eye of teens and twenty sometimes with this new line.

The addition of this new BB Cream alone should garner interest from a wide variety of women (and men) who are just now learning about BB Creams. I mentioned in a few posts already the BB Cream will get an even bigger push for Spring and here we are already discussing a new one from Olay.

It’s unfortunate they choose to name it BB Cream and Tinted Moisturizer….that should account for how sheer it probably will be.

Olay Fresh Effects Skincare is a new collection for Spring 2013 with a new Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream. It seems like the collection is marketed towards a younger demographic than Olay typically appeals to.

Unfortunately, you do have more tinted moisturizer to look forward to with this “BB Cream” as they entitled it Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream! Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer. *Head desk* You’re doing it wrong.

I’m a huge Lipstick Queen so of course, I do want to try the Rose and Shine Lip and Cheek Pot that recently launched on QVC.com

My skin is in such terrible shape right now I’m pretty sure cream blushes are all I can tolerate until I get some much needed moisture back into my dull, lifeless, dry skin!

So this might needed to be added to my cart double quick!

Garnier the Radiance Renewer Cleansing Gelee for Dull Skin recently launched in drugstores. This new cleanser contains citrus extract as well as hydroxy acid to restore the glow to dull skin.

I always get yanked into purchases like this since I suffer from duller skin when I don’t have makeup on so promise to restore the glow and ease the lackluster and I’m all in!

Garnier BB Cream Renew Miracle Skin Perfector is now available in new Medium/Deep and Deep Shades. Along with the new shades a new oily skin formulation will become available shortly at drugstores.

I’ve reviewed this BB Cream in a few prior posts and I’m not a big fan in all honesty but I’m sure it’ll be cause for some excitement that it’s available in darker shades to suit more skin tones.

Being a fond fan of easy to apply shadow sticks myself I’m excited about this launch. Wear ‘em alone or under your favorite eyeshadows for quick, easy looks. Hell, if I can get a look as gorgeous as what Katie is wearing on her eyes using these I’m all in!
