I’ve been to a slew of various Caribbean islands and there’s always at least one guy on some street corner, fair, or flea market that has some sort of huge ass Silent Hill-like knife that’s splicing coconuts open and sticking a straw in ‘em to drink. It’s fascinating to watch because in most cases it’s a little old man who’s popping these things!
Yeah well, that’s my story of the day! Speaking of coconuts!
Bath and Body Works takes on everyone’s favorite tropical treat for the Summer with their new range Signature Coconut Collection. That collection features fragrance mists, lotions, potions, and even lipgloss in three new scents with a heavy base note of, why yes, you guessed it, coconut baby!
Not only is it brilliant news that Benefit Cha Cha Tint is available today but I’m also properly chuffed that Benefit quoted me on their site! Weee! Thanks Benefit!

At the beginning of my makeup life and most of my older one I absolutely hated cream eyeshadows for some reason. I just couldn’t stand them. Perhaps it was my lack of patience during application of such a medium or the fact they tended to crease like crazy (circa BUDPP, “Before Urban Decay Primer Potion) but I avoided them like the plague.
I became enamored with them when I discovered the joy of Visee Quad Shining Eyes and ever after that faithful day creams have been a staple of my eyeshadow life.
For Summer 2011, Guerlain introduced three shades of Terra Inca Ombre Fusion Cream Eyeshadow in warm, gorgeous hues to compliment your tan.
MAC Bloggers’ Obsessions is a selection of lipglasses and eyeshadows created by Beauty Bloggers. I can’t think of a better color collection than one created by bloggers who are, dare I say, even more passionate about cosmetics than the brands themselves!
W00t! I can’t wait. I was so tempted, soooooo tempted to head to Phoenix Comic Con this weekend to stalk Wil Wheaton but I’m kinda Con’ed out as I’ve been to three or four this year already and saw him recently at another Con…I didn’t want him to realize I was stalking him you see, there’s a method to the madness. I should be over my Con hang over by February of next year to attend Gallifrey One though, maybe we can get WW there and dress him in a bow tie and a fez, it’s my sexual fantasy come true. You’re doing it wrong Wil…! I need a set of Christian Louboutin Bianca Platform Pump in Merlot and I can totally capture his eye, either that or wear some Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender Eau de Toilette Spray for the win!
Obviously I get a little confuddled at times as I thought the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Shadow Pots were a new product….
But they aren’t.
However, maybe you’re not on the up and up either because hello, wow, you’re so bloody brilliant I need you in my make up life is running through my head after seeing the promo images!
Estee Lauder introduced two dual sided Shadestick Duos with the Bronze Goddess Collection this year and damn, they sold out fast. I can’t find them online however I’ve seen them at two Estee Lauder counters so if you’re wanting ‘em after this review best get ‘em while the getting is good.
The sticks are great as a base, a liner, or an all over shadow. I was lucky enough to get the Gold Bronze color selection to try out because it’s thee perfect duo for warm, bronze-y eyes for Summer and yes, Summer seems to be nearing New York now. Can’t believe I’m going to say it but Yay! for humidity!
