MAC Charged Water Cleanser Review

MAC Charged Water Cleanser 1

Cleansing Waters, for some odd reason or another, seem to be really trending at the moment. I’ve no idea why these are suddenly popping up but everyone seems to have one. NARS, Sephora, and MAC all recently introduced one.

I think they are slightly confusing though so here’s just a brief recap….

I like to call ‘em lazy girl’s guide to removing makeup. They are simply a liquid cleanser so to use them you soak some facial cotton, a cotton pad, or ball with the cleanser and swipe off your makeup. Done. No need to rinse with water, nothing else required! It removes your makeup in a flash. Most of these cleansing waters do a great job at removing waterproof mascara but they are a simple solution for removing makeup if you’re a minimalist or fantastic for the nights you just want to fall into bed. See? Lazy girl’s makeup remover!

Let’s take a look at MAC Charged Water Cleanser.

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water Review

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water 1

I’m seeing quite a few cleansing waters released at the moment. They aren’t a hugely popular product in the US but they do decently well in the Asian market. One in particular that’s cult favorite is Mandom Cleansing Water. I reviewed this quite a few years ago on Musings and its kinda my lazy girl makeup remover for when I’m really not up for the huge nightly regime to get my makeup off.

Cleansing waters are fairly nice because they are not only simple and to the point for makeup removal but most do a damn good job tackling waterproof makeup while still remaining gentle enough not to strip skin or dry it out. Of course, this is from my experience using Asian ones, I haven’t really used any in the US.

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water happened across my desk a few weeks ago and I’m happy to say I’m enjoying it immensely.

Maybelline Expert Eyes Eye Makeup Remover Towelettes Review

makeup removers

I’m pretty much a creature of habit and I never, ever go to bed with makeup on. My evening routine is like a three ring circus for removing my makeup and getting my skin ready for bed. I imagine they could make a reality tv show out of this regime, it’s serious shiz.

Moral of the story is I rarely, like never, go off this routine because I picture hell freezing over, skies falling, and the Red Sea parting if I did go off it.

I do have to brace myself for late nights now though as even though I promised myself I would not get involved with the latest Call of Duty release my good friend Angel who owns a gaming shop in Flushing sent me over a copy yesterday and things went down the hill fast. I could already feel hours of my life being chipped away…Angel should be shot down.

(P.S. Avoid the box edition and get the PS3 or XBOX version, way smoother play)

Last night we played for hours straight with brief Twitter updates and no food, drink, or pee breaks inbetween…by chance, did you hear on the news if the skies fell last night?

Needless to say this amount of gaming means you just wanna fall into bed after it without indulging in your normal makeup removal and nightly skin regime.

Maybelline Expert Eyes Eye Makeup Remover Towelettes 1

Bad, bad, bad…but at least I had a packet of Maybelline Expert Eyes Eye Makeup Remover Towelettes laying around!

Biore Make-Up Remover Gel Review

Biore Make Up Remover Gel 1

Sigh it’s such sadness we don’t get nearly half the Biore Collection here in the US. The Eastern market features a range of not only skincare but even shower gels and soaps….

Damn shame we get around 7 or 8 products and that’s about it.

Biore Make-Up Remover Gel is one product you won’t find in drugstores here in the US but you might want to track it down if you have a larger Asian community in your city.

Check it!
