Dudes, check it.
Just a few days ago I was telling you how I can’t live without a package of Swisspers (cotton pads for removing makeup) and suddenly I come across Swisspers Supreme Make-Up Remover Pads. Dood, who the hell know that Swisspers did anything else besides cotton pads?
God, this stuff excites me…hmm I wonder if my life is so boring that make up remover pads excite me? Ha!
Seriously though who knew Swisspers did other products? I decided to have a little Google and I came across the Swisspers website which is located in Australia. Shrug, again who knew the brand was Australian? Gosh, you learn something new everyday. Turns out they have a slew of other bits and bobs which I’ve never been privy too.
Anyway! That’s my story of the day. Did you know all this or have you been in the dark about the vast empire of Swisspers?
Have a little jump to hear my babble on the Swisspers Supreme Make-Up Remover Pads!
Let the Muse tell you all about Kose Happy Bath Day. Ok, so Kose makes this line of bath and body goodies entitled Happy Bath Day. Dontcha just dig on the name? As in Happy Birthday but it’s a bath and body line so it’s named Happy Bath Day…OMG cute or what? It’s the little things in life that make the Muse smile.
Recently Kose introduced a cleansing oil and a cleansing foam to the Happy Bath Day Collection. Interesting development considering that for the most part it’s always been about the body and not the face.
Have a little jump to learn more about the cleansing oil!
So your nose is ridden with blackheads and you need a way to clear that gunk away right?
What you need is hot, Charlie’s Angel type chicks with flame throwers to vacuum those evil suckers out.
I dunno that’s what Sana told me I needed.
I’m thinking we should celebrate. You know, balloons, chips, dips, loud music, the whole deal. Why are we celebrating? Because the Gods above have granted us the ability to purchase DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil. I swear I heard angels sing when I noticed that DHC was actually carrying a product that hit Japan several months ago.
If you’re a DHC lover and a little or alot knowledgeable about DHC US versus DHC Asia, you’ve probably long since realized we get the boring packaging. DHC such a great brand but the packaging is so damn generic. Japan gets alot of great packaging plus some really cool collections such as the DHC Fruit Collection and the DHC Rose Collection.
This a break through people!
PINK DHC packaging….this is news. Call the papers, alert the President!
Ok but seriously. This really is kinda cool because I’m a package junkie and I really like good looking packaging. It’s pretty important to me in the scheme of my beauty purchases. DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil is the first of it’s kind to make it’s way to US shores. It’s really a break through for the brand because as I mentioned for the most part the packaging is pretty standard and dare I say boring in some aspects. Needless to say they make incredible products but why is the kawaii packaging reserved for Asia? No fairs!
Now that you heard my ramble about how sweet the packaging is have a little jump to hear about how well DHC Mild Touch Cleansing Oil performs.
I think I’ve established I’m in the realms of not loving L’Oreal 360 Cleansers. REALLY I wanted to adore these but they dry my skin out bad so it’s a no go sadly.
After that drama I decided to explore the new Garnier Skin Renew The Brusher Gel Cleanser (say that three times fast). Obviously, this season is going to bring with it a flow of interesting “brush” style cleansers. The Muse says bring it, I’m all for interesting beauty tools to clean my face.
Now my main beef with L’Oreal was the drying so of course I was naturally wary of trying out Garnier’s new cleanser but for the price I couldn’t really afford not to. On this note, maybe I’m not versed in the way of drugstore cleansers, but have you noticed how cheap new cleansers are? This was $7.99 and the L’Oreal ones, $6.99. That’s not too bad for a drugstore cleanser right? As last time I looked some products were ranging at borderline $10 bucks or more! Don’t quote me of course as when it comes to drugstore finds I’m just now getting my feet wet.
Onwards with the review!
