Since I’m heading into my second tube of Cover FX Eye Prep FX Anti-Age Smoothing Primer now would be a good time as any to give the good word.
This is Cover FX’s solution to priming your eyes for concealer while providing anti-aging benefits along the way! Yay for multitasking products. Considering their are so few products that actually prime UNDER your eyes this could prove something to check out particularly if you have issues with concealer creasing.

I’ll buy just about anything that promises to hydrated by dry eyes. I call it selling me snow in the Summer because honestly, let’s face it, none of these promises come true and none of these products actually rid anyone of dark circles, puffiness, and hydration.
Damn.
But I keep trying!
I recently hauled Baviphat Alaska Mineral Eye Stick in the hopes that glacier water from Alaska would be the next best thing to wake my tired, stressed eyes up and moisturize them.
Yeah, sure, mineral water from Alaska and I think I just saw a pig fly past my window.

The Skin Food Black Raspberry Eye Cream caught my eye because of the sweet packaging that looks like a little jar of jam. Sweet isn’t it?
But it also had my attention because I’m an absolute fool for any eye creams the Korean brand puts out. I really love their eye creams but they have one major quirk….

I was quite excited to check out the new Josie Maran Argan Firming Day and Night Eye Cream which launched exclusively on QVC recently. I haven’t yet seen it anywhere else aside from QVC. I kinda dig how QVC gets all these new products and exclusives first lately.
There are any number of things that I find appealing about this eye cream one of which was the twist top design that houses not one but two eye creams, one for evening and one for day.
I’ve used it nearing a month now and here are my thoughts!

Rohto, creator of all things in the eye drop arena. Not a fond fan of eye drops myself to be honest, too squeamish to have anything liquid-y hanging out around my eye area. It’s one thing to take a shower, take a swim, or get caught in the rain but it’s entirely another to voluntarily tip your head back and proceed to have drops of liquid poured into your eyes, yeah, not cool!
Rohto’s Japanese branch also has a collections of lotions and potions one of which is the new Rohto Suppin Rin Night Eye Cream. Me being all about good moisture for that pesky dry area under my eyes was all about trying this out.

The day I turned 30 I proceeded to freak the F out when I noticed weird stuff going on under my eyes. Well into my twenties all was fine but suddenly the big 3 0 creeps up and I’m seeing fine lines, puff, and all sorts of other stuff happening under there.
What went wrong?
I’ve always been of the mentality that I’d age gracefully and not sweat the little things. Yeah, right. Total panic attack. I forgot all the rules of a good hitchhiker and proceeded to PANIC like no one’s business.
Needless to say a year or two or three has gone by and I’ve been purchasing ever single lotion and potion on the market that promises to erase fine lines and preserve my youth. Is that even possible?
Probs not.
But here’s the good news….
Rule Number 1. Don’t Panic.
Rule Number 2. In many cases your fine lines can easily be erased and are only hanging around due to dryness.
In my case I easily got rid of my fine lines thanks to hydrating and moisturizing well and poof! gone! disappeared! Keep your eyes hydrated with a really good eye cream and you’ll be golden.
My latest pick for super, intensive, OMG I can’t believe it’s not butter eye cream would be Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream.
Check it!
