Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash Review, Photos

Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash 3

Excuse me why I’ll rant at Biore for never releasing the cool stuff here in the US.

Biore WTH why can’t we have cool cleansers that are called Marshmallow Whip Face Wash? Not cool! We want these things too!

I happen to be a die hard fan of Kose Airy Whip, it was kinda my first introduction into the world of whippy, foamy, fluffy cleansers! I used to buy it by the case load and pimp it out on Musings and to my friends as an essential, must have quickie facial cleanser. Seriously, ask my friends, they’ll agree that they are tired hearing about Airy Whip.

Sorry, it’s just cool stuff.

Anything that looks like whipped cream in a can that can be used as a cleanser is the awesome to me. I’m easily excited about skincare.

That’s why Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash is so exciting, shhh, it’s actually taken the place of Airy Whip but DON’T mention that to Airy Whip as we’ve been friends for years and years, don’t wanna hurt its feelings eh? But seriously foaming plus a name with marshmallow in it?

Yes please!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Review, Photos

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil 1

Ok, let me it be know I have no issues with mineral oil but some folks do. It’s difficult finding a cleansing oil without mineral oil as one of the ingredients and the most commonly asked question I get about any cleansing oil I review is, “Does it contain mineral oil?”

Second most commonly asked question, “Any cheap cleansing oil recommendations that are easy to find in the US?” Although cleansing oil is a common part of the Asian beauty regime it’s not something that’s quite caught on in the US in my opinion. Hell, if it did, we’d all go to the drugstore and have our pick of any number of cleansing oils just like any good Asian woman can at their local drugstore in Japan, Korea, etc….it’s simply not the case in the US in my opinion. Some brands do have cleansing oil available however you probably didn’t even know they had one. MAC has one, surprised? I think we commonly associate cleansing oil with Shu Uemura and ouch expensive.

Want cheap?

Want readily available?

Want something to easily clean away makeup, even stubborn waterproof mascara?

Want it without mineral oil?

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is the ticket.

Made without mineral oil, allowing for a deep clean, and readily available for purchase plus an inexpensive price tag keeps this cleansing oil at the top of the awesome pile.

Scared of cleansing oil? Weird idea isn’t it? Taking oil and proceeding to rub it on your face…well it could prove a great idea for those of us with dry skin but even than it sounds a tad on the strange side…wouldn’t your face feel oily and greasy after use?

No way. Cleansing Oil rinses clean away and allows even the most stubborn, I’m sticking around until you die makeup to be removed easily!

Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil

Hi there.

Miss me? Sorry I’m way behind on comments but trying to get through ‘em soon! Doing my best! Promise! E-mail is way backed up as well but will reply as fast as I can. And finally working on giveaways. One winner was alerted already, yay, congrats Candee! More winners are a coming and I’ll be alerting them as I finish up my database with all the entries on each giveaway!

That’s about all my blog news today. How about you? All well? Have a fab Holiday? I’m so ready for the weekend to start! Green Hornet coming out soon, I got messed up as I could have sworn Seth Rogen said it was coming out this weekend on Howard Stern this morning but maybe he was hitting the smoke before that interview. I got all hyped and realized, wait, it comes out next weekend, what the hell is he on about?

Seth Green Hornet

Crushing.

In other news I nearly finished Pasta. I’m so damn proud of myself, it only took several weeks to complete ha! I started it back in October proceeded to get busy and never finished it and re-started watching it recently and now I’m down to 5 episodes! Gong Hyo Jin so freaking kawaii! She’s darlin’! Just melts my heart when she runs after Lee Sun Gyun saying, “Chef, Chef!” Awwww! But what’s up with Honey Lee and her McSmirk in this drama…she’s constantly with a weird little grin on her face. Creepy! Totally devastated last night when our two heros are sitting at the bus stop and proceeding to share a kiss and the subtitles went off. I got all kinds of pissy after that but thanks to mayonnaisepan on Twitter for hearing my pleas of, “OMG WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY SAYING!?” and defusing the time bomb and saving the day!

Anyway….!

I have a slew of reviews upcoming for you shortly but anyone take note that Josie Maran has a new Argan Cleansing Oil?

Imma want some!

Josie Argan Cleansing Oil has launched on QVC and is, of course, injected with Argan Oil. Are we tired of Argan Oil yet? I say nay! Bring it on in this cold Winter air.

Josie Argan Cleansing Oil

It’s a 6 oz size for $32, about an oz larger than Shu’s version which is $28 at 5 oz.

Could prove awesome eh?

Philosophy Miraculous Anti-Aging A.M. Treatment Pads

Philosophy Miraculous Anti Aging A.M. Treatment Pads 1

I haven’t technically told you about the miraculous joys of Philosophy Miracle Worker Retinoid Pads since my babble about them earlier last year.

They truly are a miracle, promise to tell you more about them sometime soon!

But…….

Today is about the new Philosophy Miraculous Anti-Aging A.M. Treatment Pads. Ok, so I’m over the moon about this and you should be too if you’re loving the night time treatment pads.

The old pads are meant to be used once a night prior to serum and moisturizer however not in the day because of UV issues plus the formula was a bit on the heavier side for A.M. use. The new pads are specially formulated for morning use prior to SPF, moisturizer, and makeup application.

I don’t think Philosophy has officially deemed the pads as a retinoid of sorts however they do work in a similar fashion as one plus whatever miracle formula Philosophy has injected with these is considerably less harsh than treatment creams, lotions, and portions in the realms of retinoids. I haven’t personally used retinoid treatments myself and the Miracle Worker Pads are my first experience coming close to something of the kind and so far it’s been an incredible ride which is why I’m excited to try out the AM ones!

Philosophy Miraculous Anti-Aging A.M. Treatment Pads are not yet available but you can purchase a pre-launch of them from QVC at www.qvc.com.

I do believe it’s a no brainer purchase for those who already own and love the pads as for those who have never tried them before I’d suggest trying the original pads first, see if you love them, and move on to the AM ones.

Even better I highly suggest the Philosophy Miracle Worker 15-Day Skincare Challenge. I wish they had this available when I originally shelled out $70 for the Miracle Worker Pads so I could get a feel for all the products in this set. I highly recommend this set because it contains a 15 Day Supply of not only the pads but also the Philosophy Miracle Worker Concentrate and Moisturizer all of which have become my anti-aging nighttime staples the past year or so. If you’re like me, in your 30′s, and just now experiencing the very first signs of age or your skin just really needs a pick me up because it’s looking dull, this set will seriously reverse the dullness and the aging plus it lets you experience the products without dishing out the big money for each individual item without trying first. It’s a mere $39 and a deal in my humblest. I use the pads, the serum, and the moisturizer as my night time regime and have noticed a visible improvement in my skin over time.

Philosophy Miraculous Anti Aging A.M. Treatment Pads 2

Sorry this sounds like such a pimp out but I personally purchased all the items I’m discussing here with my own money and simply adore them, they really did something for my skin particularly when I was feeling blue about how dull it was looking and upset about fine smile lines I was starting to notice around the sides of my mouth.

Anyway, that’s my anti-aging story and lemming of the moment.

Anyone try the Philosophy Miracle Worker Collection?

Success stories?

Reject ones?

Share ‘em here!
