Rohto, creator of all things in the eye drop arena. Not a fond fan of eye drops myself to be honest, too squeamish to have anything liquid-y hanging out around my eye area. It’s one thing to take a shower, take a swim, or get caught in the rain but it’s entirely another to voluntarily tip your head back and proceed to have drops of liquid poured into your eyes, yeah, not cool!
Rohto’s Japanese branch also has a collections of lotions and potions one of which is the new Rohto Suppin Rin Night Eye Cream. Me being all about good moisture for that pesky dry area under my eyes was all about trying this out.
Dude, winter is obviously setting in because I’m sporting seriously patchy dry cheeks today. Not pretty, not too pretty at all! Tonight I’m taking DHC Olive Virgin Oil and pouring it all over my face, they recommend one or two drops but this is an emergency, bring on the entire bottle!
Speaking of more moisture the new Korres Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser promises a hydrating cleansing experience.
Does it work?
This is kinda my little follow up review to the Sana Hadanomy Collagen Mist I recently reviewed for you. The Hadanomy Collection features a mist, lotion (toner), and moisturizer. Today I have the Sana Hadanomy Collagen Lotion to share with you! Asian skincare commonly refers to toner as lotion so don’t get too confuddled here as this is indeed a Toner not a Lotion as per the name.
After the Holidays, Winter is pretty much unleashed on New Yorkers far and wide although this year we got a taste of the bitter cold super early.
Needless to say, combining harsh, cold weather with skin does not make a pretty face. Think redness, flakiness, dry patches, and other woe and drama to play havoc with your skin.
Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Serum releases just in time for those winter-weary complexions that need some extra TLC. This serum gives an immediate feeling of comfort on contact and not only helps to improve the texture of your skin but also acts as a moisture barrier, sealing and locking in hydration while sporting anti-aging ingredients to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles and giving skin a more firmer, lifted look!
Ingredients include wheat, bran, and olive extract complex to help strengten skin’s natural barrier while improving its ability to lock moisture in. Vitamin C and a powerful peptide helps to soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Clary Sage Extract encourages skin cell turnover and sweeps away dull surface cells to reveal a fresh, radiant surface while Magnolia Bark Extract, Sucrose and Caffeine help reduce visible redness caused by irritation and finally Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin and Meadowfoam Seed Oil infuse skin with moisture, instantly and over time.
Apply in in the morning and again in the evening followed up with your moisturizer of choice for smoother, healthier skin!
I’m of the mentality that a good serum is an absolute essential item when battling harsh Winter weather particularly for those of us who sport dry skin so Bobbi Brown’s Extra Repair Serum definitely sounds interesting.

I was thinking hard about it, no worries, haven’t shorted any circuits here….and I realized I apply hand cream just as chronically and compulsively as I do lip gloss.
Any chronic hand cream appliers out there? Is there a club? Can we get moral support for the compulsion? Is there anyway to stop when presented with kawaii fruit shaped lip balms and hand creams from Japan?
Why do they tempt us?
