Rohto Skin Aqua Moisture Gel SPF 27 Review: For the Lazy SPF Users

Rohto Skin Aqua Moisture Gel SPF 27 2

You may recognize the Rohto brand name due to the fact they make a wide range of eye drops. I’m pretty sure I’ve tortured myself more than once with their “refreshing” eye washes and drops. Do not like.

However, resentment aside for their toothpaste (I call them toothpaste eye drops because of the super minty fresh feelin’!) eye drops I do like their Skin Aqua SPF Collection.

I dub their Skin Aqua Moisture Gel the lazy SPF solution.

Clarins 50+ SPF Sunscreen For Face Wrinkle Control Cream Review

Clarins 50+ SPF Sunscreen For Face Wrinkle Control Cream 4

Welcome to the season of SPF.

Granted, you should be wearing SPF all year round no matter what. But SPF is most important in the Summer simply because you’ll be outside a heck of alot more now in this wonderful weather. And while you’re out and about you’ll want to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.

Believe it or not but the sun can do some major damage to your skin including aging it well before its time. SPF protects your skin it does not prevent you from enjoying the sun and/or tanning if that’s your bag!

When choosing your SPF you’ll want something that protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays and you’ll also want something with a considerably higher protection if you’re not tanning goddes or you’re fairer of skin. A non-sticky, non-greasy formula is also a plus!

Clarins 50+ SPF Sunscreen For Face Wrinkle Control Cream is an anti-aging sunscreen that protects your skin while defending it against wrinkles and age spots.

Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen Review

Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen 7

I should hope you’re using SPF all year round. Rain, shine, snow, fiery balls falling from the sky, whatever the day brings I hope it starts with a solid SPF.

And shame on you if you aren’t wearing SPF!

SPF isn’t the easiest product in the world to wear in my opinion. Some are greasy, some too oily, some break me out, some feel way heavy, some suffocate my skin……It’s tough SPF world out there.

But it’s an absolutely necessary evil that you apply it everyday, diligently, to protect your skin and keep it looking its youthful best.

Products that make SPF easy are on my hit list so thank you Bare Escentuals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen for making SPF easy, simple, and painless!

Avon Anew Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion Review

Avon Anew Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion 4

I tried out the new Avon Anew Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion I told you about last week. This is one of two new sunscreens available from Avon (the other is a body version) that’s formulated with RepariShield which dramatically reduces the look of wrinkles and discolorations while protecting your skin from the sun with an SPF 45.

The high SPF value alone was one reason I wanted to try it out and of course the rather affordable $24 price tag for 2.6 oz as higher end SPF comes with a far bigger price tag.

Here’s my thoughts!

Tony Moly Ice Queen Multi Play Cream SPF 30 Review

Tony Moly Ice Queen Multi Play Cream SPF 30 1

Summer feels like it’s around the corner today as we have a spurt of lovely warm weather today. I hope it’ll be as nice for the weekend as I’m away for it.

As the weather starts to warm up you’ll start worrying about lighter coverage, more sun protection, a light wearing moisturizer, etc…. This is where play creams come into my beauty world. My skin is dry in the Winter but tends to get a bit oily in the Summer so I like a light wearing moisturizer preferably one that has a decent SPF if possible.

If you shop the Asian beauty world you’ll come across quite a good deal of “play” creams that offer lighter moisturizing effects, plus SPF, and act as a base for your makeup.

Recently, a reader e-mailed me and asked had I tried the Tony Moly “ice cream” range and I had to sit and scratch my head for a second….what she actually meant was the Ice Queen Collection. Easy mistake considering the products are all packaged up like a scoop of your favorite ice cream and topping!

And yes, I have. I got these when I first saw them pop up on Sasa a while back ago, believe it was before the Holidays. Sasa still has them in stock by the way and close to retail price too!

As per her request I’ll be reviewing these for you and starting off today with the Tony Moly Ice Queen Multi Play Cream SPF 30, one of the nicer play creams I’ve tried from Korea by the way and not only for the cute packaging either!
