Love or hate it matte lipsticks are back for Fall 2015 and I’ve compiled a list of the best matte lipsticks for Fall 2015 that I think are utterly wearable, easy to apply, and easy to wear without drying your lips out.
I remember when I started my blog nearly 8 years ago and matte lipsticks were all the rage. Unfortunately, at that time I didn’t feel like the formula of any of these matte lipstick formulas on the market weren’t completely draining the moisture from my lips. For serious, wearing matte lipstick was a lot like that scene in Tank Girl where Kesslee stabs a water bottle into a dude’s back and proceeds to extra all the water from his body.
Needless to say matte lipsticks weren’t a pleasant experience. But mattes have evolved so much since 2007 with formulas that are creamier, longer wearing, and not nearly as moisture draining as they once were.
As we head into Fall 2015, matte lipsticks are going to become more and more popular with a possibility of the trend following into the Holiday season so here’s a list of the best matte lipsticks for Fall 2015 that are both new and older formulas I’ve used, loved, and didn’t have an issue with them draining the life moisture from my lips.
Urban Decay Naked Graffiti Eyeshadow Palettes have launched in France! Urban Decay Naked 2 Graffiti and Urban Decay Naked 3 Graffiti are available at Sephora France today. Each of the palettes have the same great shades we know and love but the packaging is brand new featuring art work from who I assume is a French street artist nicked “Pboy” as per his tag located on the lower right hand side of the palette.
As of now the Urban Decay Naked Graffiti Eyeshadow Palettes are exclusively available online at www.sephora.fr but I have a feeling that Urban Decay will be launching more of these with new designs and artists from the East and West Coast and perhaps other countries as well. That’s of course a big assumption but that seems like where it might go!
If you already have Urban Decay Naked 2 and Urban Decay Naked 3 it’s probably not completely necessary to repurchase these (if you can get your hands on them) but they are nice collector’s editions if you’re a makeup collector.
What do you think of the new Urban Decay Naked Graffiti Eyeshadow Palettes?
Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick ($22) is a new matte version of Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick that will be available July 8th in 11 permanent shades. Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick is an Urban Decay Fall 2015 and although we’ve already seen these new lippies plus the new Urban Decay Smoky Eyeshadow Palette I have a feeling there’s still yet more to be had from UD for the upcoming season!
