I happen to have a serious addiction to owning anything and everything kawaii in the makeup world. If it’s cute, chances are I own it. The Muse is all for golden oldies which is why she’s been a big Vintage Sister fan for years now. Their uber cute balms bring back the childhood memories of cute lip balms I used to tote around with me when I was a mere girl. The set includes three flavors all of which are housed in retro style sliding tins. Slide the tin back to reveal a heavy moisturizing balm that’s dosed with plenty of of good taste or in this case plenty of sour to make your lips curl up in a puckering pout!
The set includes Sour Cherry, Sour Lime, and Sour Pink Lemonade. Sour Cherry is a pink transparent balm that tastes and smells like the real thing. Plenty of cherry with just the right tart sweetness that’s sure to please. Sour Lime has plenty of lime flavor with a bit of a fizz a la 7up or Sprite but it also has that tart, sour kick! Sour Pink Lemonade isn’t too sour but has plenty of sweet sugary lemon that will remind you of a warm Summer day!
Vintage Sister balms have a hard texture but once warmed up they’ll glide onto lips and leave behind plenty of shine. They’ll heal up chapped lips and keep lips moist all while tasting and smelling delicious!

Oooo the weather is warming up…kinda…sorta…ok, not really but soon it’ll be warmer and you’ll want to have picture perfect knees, elbows, and legs. I’m a big fan of Lush Massage Bars as I think they do my skin a world of good especially the dry, ickier parts of my body but I’m all for an alternative that’s cute and sweet smelling!

Elbow Grease is $10 USD a tin and comes in six fun scents! I have mine scented in Carribean Fruit which has touches of tropical orange, cherry, coconut, and pineapple! It’s a combo of sweet, tropical fruits that’s sure to get you in the mood for Spring!
Each bar will last around a three to four weeks with daily use. It works fabulously well at making skin extra smooth and particularly makes your legs feel wonderfully silky and short ready for the Summer!
All in all I’m still a big lover of Lush Massage Bars as they perform the very same way but I really like the fun, quirky style of Vintage Sister which is what makes Elbow Grease such a hit for me.
