Happy Monday!

Is it feeling a little Fall around your part of the world today? It’s not quite there yet in New York. It’s actually warm today and has been the last two weeks. As in warm enough for AC so, yeah, Fall isn’t quite ready to show itself yet.

But people, I’ve been in Fall mode since late August. All my Fall decor is out (my Halloween stuff goes up October 1st), my wardrobe is Fall-ready, and I’ve had several pumpkin spice frapps to toast the season.

Anyone It Cosmetics Superstar Flawless Foundation Brush that launched last Summer? It’s back in the form of the It Cosmetics You’re a Star! Multitasking Foundation Brush ($30)!

I�m sure you�re familiar with the Love Beauty Fully Love is the Foundation Brush that has a heart-shaped head which It Cosmetics launches every year for Cancer Awareness. It hasn’t returned this this year yet the You’re a Star! Multitasking Foundation Brush has. It looks like they might be promoting as part of the Holiday 2019 Collection.

Update: The It Cosmetics Love is the Foundation Brush has made a come back since I wrote this post and is now available.

I actually like both the heart and the star-shaped brushes. The brush has a dense had but the bristles are very soft and the star-shape actually works great at getting around the corners and contours of my face like down the sides of my nose and under my eyes! The flat top makes it easy to blend creams as well!

Plus it’s shape like a star I mean really doesn’t everyone need a star-shaped brush in their lives?

The price remains the same as last year at $30 however, the handle changed from clear to a glittery silver and blue handle!

Buxom Holiday 2019 arrives today with a new Strike Gold Pluming Lipgloss Set at sephora.com and ulta.com! I always look forward to the Buxom Lipgloss Holiday Gift Sets. Some people hate the formula because it tingles but I like it. I tend to purchase the gift set every year and I run rather quickly through the minis since I use them so often. If you’re a Buxom fan I’m sure you’ll want to pick this set up!

I was actually waiting to see if they’d do a Holiday Eyeshadow Palette but no word yet on that. With the introduction of both the Buxom Boss Babe Dolly Eyeshadow Palette and Babe Betty Eyeshadow Palette I thought for sure they’d have some new larger palette for Holiday 2019. Although, no news of that has broken yet I’m pretty sure we’ll see something pop as Buxom tends to release eyeshadow palettes closer to November. I’m more concerned by the lipgloss palette anyway 🙂 as I wasn’t all that big of the last two palettes anyway!

Bobbi Brown Luxe Gems Eyeshadow Palette ($75) arrived today at nordstrom.com and I’m playing with the idea of picking it up. Apparently this is a Nordstrom exclusive and it is limited edition. I do wonder if we’ll see other variations of it as we get closer to Holiday launches. Last year, we got the Bobbi Brown Ultra-Violet Eyeshadow Palette and Infra-Red Eyeshadow Palette both of which were available at Sephora. Those were a bit different for the brand but as we are seeing since Bobbi Brown left as CEO the brand has taken an interesting turn and a lot of their launches are a lot more colorful.
