Do You Think Tarte Big Ego Mascara Is As Good as Lights, Camera, Lashes?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Tarte Big Ego Mascara ($23) is on my insta-buy list. I know what you’re thinking! Why would anything Tarte be put on an insta-buy list? Because really, let’s be honest here, Tarte’s been pretty much more miss than hit lately.

But two things that Tarte does right is Shape Tape Concealer and my holy grail mascara, Lights, Camera, Lashes. And I know that many, many of you love Lights, Camera, Lashes as much as I do. It’s a mascara formula I’ve cheated on many, many times but ALWAYS come back to! It just really does a great job adding good length and volume to my lashes! It’s a tried and true formula.

Anyway, since Lights, Camera, Lashes is such a great formula I’m sincerely trusting that Tarte won’t do me wrong with Big Ego Mascara.

This is a conditioning mascara that has a confiDENSE Booster Brush (yeah, that name is sort of dumb) that mimics the curves of your lashline to builds volume easily. This twisted double fiber brush coats lashes in a pigmented black formula that contains nourishing ingreidents like Vitamin B5, Glycerin, and Babassu to prevent breakage and leave your lashes soft. The formula promises up to 16 hours of wear.

Will I try it?

For sure!

Will it be as good as Lights, Camera, Lashes?

I hope so!

Escada Miami Blossom Is a Delightful Fragrance That Brings Memories of Old

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

It’s Spring and that means Escada has a new perfume! Escada Miami Blossom Eau De Toilette launched a few short months ago just in time for the Spring/Summer season with notes of juicy pineapple and watermelon.

Escada’s seasonal fragrances aren’t exactly known for their longevity both in terms of formula and shelf life (they tend to stick around for a few months before disappearing and being replaced with a new edition the following year) but I always end up buying them because I’m a sucker for sweeter, fruitier fragrances and Escada delivers in that area flawlessly.

Last Spring, Escada Sorbetto Rosso and it was lovely but a bit too aquatic for my taste. It was the first year, I was actually ever so slightly disappointed in the brand’s seasonal limited edition scent.

This year, I’m quite happy as Miami Blossom brings back some good memories of past Escada fragrances like Ibiza Hippie and Sexy Graffiti!

Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint for Summer 2019

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I was quite excited to see Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint pop up on Nordstrom today! This is part of Chanel’s Summer 2019 launch and it arrives just in time for the warmer weather we’ve been finally having. I’m actually always about really lightweight, natural looking foundation no matter the season. I’m blessed with fairly resilient blemish-free skin and I typically like my foundations to be lighter and weightless without a ton of coverage. I’m pretty prone to duller skin so, I rely on my foundation to brighten up my lackluster skin and even it out but I’m not not necessarily looking for coverage. If you fit into this category you might like Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint.

This is a water-based hydrating tint in a lightweight gel formula that has ultra-fine pigment micro-droplets that provide a hint of tint for a natural-looking bare skin effect that’s fresh and natural looking. You can even use it over your foundation should you like to even out and refresh your complexion!

It’s available in four shade selections and comes with its own brush for $65.

Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint for Summer 2019 is available now.

Will you be trying it?

The Best and Cheapest Nude Lip Color You Need and Will Thank Me For Recommending to You

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

Catrice Pure Pigments Lip Lacquer ($7.99) in Salted Caramel is one of the best and cheapest nude lip colors I’ve run across in recent years and totally one you need (Ok, I lied, the cheapest nude would be Essence Insta-Care Lipstick! You totally need that too by the very way!).

I always on the look out for a wearable nude because I find many of them unwearable. Nude lip color is a hard one and when you do find one it’s like hitting the lotto! For a really long time I just avoided them but lately I’m utterly obsessed with collecting as many as I can that look good on me.

Catrice Pure Pigments Lip Lacquer in Salted Caramel definitely one I hoard away! It’s perfection!
