Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette Launches November 1st

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($65) launches November 1st just in time for the second Rouge Sale! Hey, 20% Off this palette is a great deal! When I first heard about this it was top on my list of items I needed but I think it might be a little cool for me! I am praying hard it isn’t because god those shades are gorgeous.

It includes 18 total eyeshadows in matte, shimmer, and duo-chromatic shades in a range of rosy, golden, dusky copper, and soft berry hues. I love the shades but I’m concerned that they’ll look pasty on me! Let’s hope not as I really want this one! I do see some dusky berries and roses that will work nicely for me! There are a few shades though that might not quite do the trick on my skin tone. Do you think you’ll be able to create looks using this one? Think it’ll sell out?

Do share your thoughts!

It launches November 1st

Urban Decay Naked Cherry All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray Asks the Question WHY!?

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.
1 stars out of 5

Urban Decay Naked Cherry All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray ($15) is new, limited edition cherry scented makeup setting spray that launched with the Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette and Naked Cherry Collection earlier last month.

I’m a little tiny bit surprised Urban Decay didn’t go full on out with fragrancing the entire line like cherries but I guess they felt that was a little too Too Faced for them so the only item that’s scented is this little All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray.

But for Urban Decay Naked Cherry All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray has me asking the question, WHY?!

BH Cosmetics Concealer Fan Brush 5 Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

BH Cosmetics Concealer Fan Brush 5 ($7) is a synthetic bristled brush with a unique fan shape that was created to fit into the contours under your eyes and around your face that need to be concealed. I typically use my trust E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush to “paint” concealer under my eyes and I blend out with my finger. It’s favorite brush of mine that I’ve used for many years even when I was of the firm belief that concealer brushes were unnecessary! It does a good job with formula that are thicker and emollient as it thins them out and makes them easier to blend.

I wasn’t in the market for a new concealer brush when I saw the BH Cosmetics Concealer Fan Brush 5 pop up at Ulta.com but the unusual shape intrigued me so I dropped it in with my order.

Almay Gel Smooth Liner Metallics Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

Almay Gel Smooth Liner Metallics ($8.49) launch late last month just in time for smooth in six shades that promise 12 hours of wear with a gel formula. I’m not really a metallic kinda eyeshadow girl because a lot of the time metallics come across frosty on my eyes (sometimes I run across a formula I love) but metallic gel liners? Gimme! Love them so much! They are always delightfully twinkly and gorgeous on my big brown eyes.

So, of course, I decided I wanted to give Almay Gel Smooth Liner Metallics a whirl. Plus it’s sort of a daring and different released for Almay who tends to play things safe. Lately, their releases seem more and more geared towards a younger demographic like their new Vibes Lipstick, Goddess Gloss, and the entire Cosmic Collection. It’s all just very youthful, fresh, and different for Almay! Also, it’s very welcome because Almay had some catching up to do in this department!

Niod Sanskrit Saponins Is Something I Don’t Exactly Get

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

I purchased NIOD Sanskrit Saponins ($28) earlier this Summer because for some reason or another my normally dry skin decided to become extra oily. The entire idea of NIOD Sanskrit Saponins was it would act to deeply cleanse skin by removing dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. Missing something? It doesn’t remove makeup! That’s not what it was created for. I was fine with that because I thought I’d use it as part of my double cleansing method.

Since purchasing it I can honestly say I don’t exactly understand this formula and I’m not really sure what it is doing.
