It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment Serum Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment Serum is a new hydrating tinted lip serum that contains hyaluronic acid. This isn’t yet for sale individually as it makes an appearance it tonight’s It Cosmetics All About You! Your Customer Favorites Set which is this evenings QVC’s Today Special Value. As you know from my prior post the set goes on sale at 12AM tonight/tomorrow morning and includes four full-size It Cosmetics products including this new Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment Serum for $59 (free shipping).

It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi is shade that has appeared across the board in many, many products from the brand including lip products like It Cosmetics Rose Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment and It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Anti-Aging Lipstick Stain.

You either really adore the shade or it might be too bubble gum pink for you. I actually like it a lot especially the blush products I own that It Cosmetics has created in the shade. Last year, I wasn’t much of fan of the It Cosmetics Rose Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment as the formula wasn’t quite as nice as past lip products that the brand has brought out. This was a balm but the texture wasn’t quite all that great. When I heard they were creating the same formula in a serum lip product I was quite excited as I like It Cosmetics CC Lip Serum Hydrating Anti-Aging Color Correcting Creme Gloss which has a serum-like texture.

Ulta Beauty Spring Essentials Featuring the Customizable Eyeshadow Palette

I was compensated by a brand or company but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was recently gifted some Ulta Spring Essentials to bring together into a post and it reminded me how much fun it is to create a Customizable Eyeshadow Palette. Did you know that Ulta has their own Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes available in both 4-Pan and 8-Pan Palettes (Either is free if you purchase Ulta Eyeshadow Singles to fill them with).

I’m one of those people that doesn’t depot anything. I’ve pressed my own pigments, which is messy, but I refuse to depot anything. Part of the reason I purchase makeup is because I like the pretty packaging and it would break my heart to dismantle them.

That’s why custom eyeshadow palettes are such a treat for me. I can pick and choose what goes into the palette just as I could depotting but I don’t have to worry about destroying my pretty packaging. Not to mention, sometimes eyeshadow palette can contain a bunch of great shades and several I simply never use like that matte black everyone loves including. I mean, really though, do you ever getting around to using that in any of your looks? It does sometimes work great as an eyeliner but nearly every palette I own includes a dark brown or a matte dark black that I never hit pan on and most times I simply ignore it. No worries with a custom palette as I can ditch that matte black and put what I want into the palette. These shadows pop in and out of the magnetic compact easily and they even come with a dual-sided brush that has a tiny pick on one end you can use to remove them and customize them as you see fit.

Anyway, on to Ulta Spring Essentials.

Here’s some goodies I tried.

Lipstick Queen The Dating Game Lipstick Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Lipstick Queen the Dating Game Lipstick is a new selection of pink-hued lipstick shades that launched earlier in December. I picked up a single shade a few short weeks ago and I’ve been wearing it so much that I’m half way down with it. It was a shade I wore happily on Valentine’s Day paired up with golden peach cheeks courtesy NARS Orgasm, it was a shade I wore with my beloved favorite matte eyeshadow from Urban Decay in the shade Beware, and I wear it quite often with a bare eye and gently blushing cheeks for a natural look with a pop of pretty on my lips.

I honestly don’t really like bright pinks. I prefer nuder pinks, dusky roses, brown based pinks, but bright ones, not so much. I picked up the shade Mr. Right which they call rosy pink with hints of “cheery” coral. I’m not really getting the coral aspect in all honesty. To me it’s a bright pink almost a hot pink in some ways but completely wearable.
