It’s today’s special it’s about to begin….!
Well not really, it actually starts this Friday, January 13th, for one single day only.
The new love of my makeup life is It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer. Seriously, HG (holy grail) road ahead for this little concealer…!
Now it’s typically $26-$29 on QVC.com and truth be told I loves it so much I’d go ahead and splurge a $50 bill on it. But you don’t have to go that far…you can get it in the new It Cosmetics Complexion Perfection Superstars Collection QVC Today Special Value along with some other goodies for $49.98.
MAC Naturally launched so whatcha get? I’m still waiting on my order to arrive but I did get a few samples in the mail yesterday.
I was hopeful Naturally would be the collection that made me fall back into love with MAC. The little bit I’ve seen of it so far hasn’t really caught my interest though…crossing my fingers my order is a bit better!
But I am liking a few pieces….Fresh Honey is pretty!
I’m not really a great photographer and I stink at lip swatch photos in particularly…plus close up shots of my lips kinda freaks me out.
So I did a few Clinique Almost Lipstick Lip Swatches but in full photos. I know they probably won’t be a ton of help but I wanted to share how incredibly natural these look on lips. There one of my biggest picks for Spring 2012. I’m really loving ’em!
Take a peek!
Hey nail girls!
Here’s a little look at the Butter London Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 Collection.
I had a blast with some of the names. If you’re a reader of Musings from the beginning you probably remember Peter, my British x-boyfriend’s father. One of my Internet alias for gaming, forums, etc is fan_girl and Peter used to like to call me fanny girl. Needless to say if you’re British it wasn’t the best nickname in the world. Haha!
Let me know if anything catches your eye!
Make Up For Ever is relaunching its UnReTouched Campaign for the New Year. If you remember last year Make Up For Ever launched this campaign with several models wearing various Make Up For Ever foundation products and color cosmetics. The difference between those promo images and ones you see from other brands or in glossy magazines was the fact they remained untouched. Make Up For Ever delivered you the raw images without retouching or perfecting the photos using Photoshop.
This year, Make Up For Ever takes the idea of giving you the “real deal” even further with a casting call to find a model for their new Unretouched Ad Campaign. That model could be you! Visit www.hd.makeupforeverusa.com and submit a photo for consideration. All finalists will be posted on Facebook and the winner will be flown to NYC for a professional photo shoot in February.
Make Up For Ever has also launched a brand new interactive shade finder tool to help women find their perfect shade of foundation online. Many folks are a bit wary of buying foundation online for the first time because they are worried about the shade being completely wrong for them. This new tool aids you in selecting your shade! Try it out at www.hd.makeupforeverusa.com/shadefinder.
The Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Starter Kit recently launched as well which is a value set containing four products for $79.
