I Feel Slightly Disappointed the Tarte Big Blush Book Volume III Didn’t Sell Out

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Ok, I have to admit that I feel slightly disappointed the Tarte Big Blush Book Volume III didn’t sell out. Hear me out for a second.

So, if you ever meet a New Yorker you’ll find we like talking about the weather. Well, actually ranting about it. When it’s Summer we bitch about the humidity, when it’s Winter we complain about the cold, when it’s Spring we rant about the pollen, it’s a pretty never ending cycle. You see, I’ve come to the conclusion we are NEVER satisfied. You can give us a picture perfect day and we’d still find something to hate on about it. Come to think of it, maybe that’s just human nature and not just a New Yorker thing!

The same truth applies to makeup. If the palette sold out I’d totally be ranting about it and now that it hasn’t I’m still ranting about it.

If I placed a bet on Tarte’s Big Blush Book 3 selling out I’d have lost big time. I expected this one to go really fast. Now, it’s only available today only but don’t worry I’m positive it’ll be back for Holiday 2017.

However, I thought, like year’s past, that it would disappear fairly fast. And I have to admit I’m a little disappointed I was wrong.

Clinique Pep-Start Pout Restoring Night Mask & Dragons!

Clinique Pep-Start Pout Restoring Night Mask ($17.50) is yet another launch in the Pep-Start Collection which acts an overnight hydrating treatment mask for lips. I have pretty dry lips so I’m always looking for a good balm that isn’t sticky or tacky which I can wear to bed.

You can apply this any old time of the day but it is recommended as a nightly treatment to restore moisture and leave lips soft and supple the next day after use.

Clinique Pep-Start Pout Restoring Night Mask is available now at sephora.com.

P.S. Don’t read past this point if you don’t want any spoilers from the Game of Thrones episode this week!

OMG! The Night King raised an effing dragon! I KNEW it was going to happen but some part of me was like, “Naaa! How could that go down?” But it went down people.

You did have to suspend all sense of logic in this episode though because really where did the Army of the Dead get a bunch of large chains from? How did Dany get to Jon so quickly!??! Is Jon really that small? I’m sorry, blame the meme for that joke.

And one of those most important questions ever, will they address the fact that Jon and Dany are related or will they ignore that and have them making sweet, sweet love in the finale.

Ha….!

By the way, they should give up all hope now because Cersei’s not giving that throne up for anyone. They are NEVER getting her on Team Bend the Knee so just forget about it. They might had a chance prior to her being pregnant but now that she’s got a baby Lannister cooking up she’s going to protect that throne with everything she has. Night King, Army of the Dead, Dragons, NOTHING is going to get her to give in.

By the way, I’m not even remotely apologetic for that crude meme.

Just keeping it real my friends ;-D

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Dazzling Lights Lipstick for Fall 2017

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Dazzling Lights Lipstick ($37) is one of those things you just want because of the packaging. This limited edition selection of the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick is adorned with dazzling fireworks on the barrel.

It’s the same great satiny finish lipstick that you know in love that provides intense coverage on a single swipe with a hydrating formula but the limited-edition fireworks adorned gold casing is limited edition. The side of the barrel has a pink glittery firework explosion etched on the side.

Cutes right?

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Dazzling Lights Lipstick is available in six shades for the Fall 2017 season at nordstrom.com.

It’s ok if you want to break out into Katy Perry after reading this. I did.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleanser, Detox & Brighten Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleanser, Detox & Brighten ($5.99) is one of three new clay-to-mousse daily cleansers that contain 3 different clays that act to lift away dirt and oil and live duller skin brighter and more even toned.

This formula is actually a retake on the L’Oreal Clay facial masks that launched last year. I got ok with L’Oreal Pure-Clay Mask Exfoliate and Refine Pores last year so I decided to check out the Pure Clay Cleanser Collection and see what the deal was.

Here’s my review and thoughts.
