It’s here! The Urban Decay AfterGlow Highlighter Palette ($34) launched ahead of schedule today at Ulta.com. I was expecting this on June 4th but it randomly popped on the site this morning. You probably read my prior post about it but here’s some more deets!

This is a four-pan highlighter palette (much like that blush quad that launched with the Urban Decay Jean-Michel Basquiat Tenant Collection) that includes the following shades:

• Bliss (champagne-gold pearl)
• Peroxide (iridescent pink)
• NSFW (peachy pink)
• Side Piece (golden peach)

Apparently these have a soft, finely milled powder texture that feels like a cream! If they are anything like the original Afterglow Highlighter formula we should be mighty pleased as I thought those were fabulous when they released in individual pans last year!

They also launched a new Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder For Face And Body in Fireball which is also available at Ulta.com.

I guess highlighter season is all out guns a blazing for the warmer weather. I admit I have my eye on Fireball just because I really liked eyeshadow shade and the original Afterglow Highlighter shade.

Oh, by the way they also have a new All Day All Night Travel Set ($19) which contains Quick Fix and Allnighter Setting Spray in mini sizes (1 oz).

Remember those brilliant Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow Palettes? They appear to be back as this new Maybelline the City Mini Palette looks quite like the same soft, silky formula as the old Plush Silk ones. All I can say is, if they are, sign me up because I used to LOVE those palettes!

In past post, I’ve compared the formula on the Plush Silk Eyeshadow Quads to Japanese Eyeshadows which you likely no I’m obsessed with since I’m a fond fan of Asian beauty everything. They are also quite like the new Covergirl Tru Naked Eyeshadow Palettes. I’m just judging my opinion of the City Mini Palettes by eyeballing them alone from promo pictures but things are looking mighty promising from these images.

So, I saw Metallic last night and it was freaking off the charts awesome! But now I just want to crawl under my desk and take a nap. I’m going to be one of those people that says this was the best Metallic I ever been to when in reality it was probably as good as all the others. But yeah, there’s always that need to say, “Wow! That was the best concert I’ve ever been to!” when in reality it’s just my inner gushing fan girl.

Anyway, I’m a little slow going this week and I’m feeling a bit tucked out today. I’m under some stress due to work related rubbish but I’m hanging tight and can’t wait for the weekend to get here. Hope your week is going good! Any good plans for the weekend? Weather is looking up finally. It’s a beautiful 94 degrees today! Yup! 94! And last week I had my heat on! There’s irony here somewhere.

Looks like macys.com stocked Benefit Erase Paste, Boi-ing, and Fake-Up Hydrating Concealer. These are all on their sale page with a discount of around 30% off!

Sadly, no sign of Lemon Aid but at least HSN.com still has it available 🙂
