Revlon Brush & Sponge Daily Cleanser Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Revlon Brush & Sponge Daily Cleanser (7.99) is a new makeup brush cleaner that actually launched back in December which I only just recently heard about. Aside from NYX Brush Cleaner, Real Techniques Gel Brush Cleanser, and Ecotools Makeup Brush Cleansing Shampoo, I feel like drugstore makeup brush cleansers are a little lacking aren’t they?

I was pretty excited to see Revlon decided to venture into the brush cleansing world.

Here’s my thoughts and review on their Brush & Sponge Daily Cleanser.

Yes to Coconut Hydrate & Restore Ultra Hydrating Sheet Mask Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

I finally got around to try out the Yes to Coconut Hydrate & Restore Ultra Hydrating Sheet Mask ($3.29) that Yes To introduced last year. I know, I’m so damn lat Yes To has been on a roll releasing an assortment of different masks lately for not only your face but even your eyes and lips that are both available in sheet and cream formulas.

No one can say I’m not a create of habit when it comes to life and skincare. After a long work day on Monday, I typically keep to the same weekly schedule which includes an early dinner with my friend Nikki where we proceed to eat the same exact thing every week (caesar salad and Bass Alison at Carbone) and home in time to catch Antique Roadshow. The only thing that changes during my Monday routine is the face or cream mask I decide to use that night but no matter what I always mask on Mondays (and a few other days of the week). For whatever reason, Monday has become a time I overindulge and spoil my skin. Typically this means a good cleansing, exfoliating, and of course, multi-masking with a cream and a sheet mask.

I love the idea of these because who doesn’t like a quick, cheap way to indulge your skin right? Pick up a few, slap them on while watching Antique Roadshow, and love your skin after.

Right? Well, maybe not so much.

Smelling Pretty Courtesy Pacifica Hair & Body Mists

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Pacifica Hair & Body Mists, that’s right they do double duty for your body and hair, arrive in time for the warmer weather in three Summer-y scents! These alcohol-free mists are a lightweight formula that can be misted in your hair or onto your body for a burst of light fragrance

Fragrances Available:

Pacifica Hair & Body Mists are available now at Ulta.com.

I’m always a little wary of body mists as they are totally eaten alive by my body chemistry! But I’d love to use these as a hair mist at the very least. I’m utterly obsessed with hair mists for some reason! I think it stems from when Pantene had this gorgeous smelling hair mist like over 10 years ago. I stockpiled the hell out of that stuff. It smelled so delightful fresh and made my hair smell amazing. I’ve been trying to recreate that experience every since with other hair mists like Cake Beauty Be Delectable Hair & Body Mist!

Estee Lauder Defining Powder is Quite Unique

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Probably one of the most interesting makeup bruhses I’ve seen of late is the new Estee Lauder Defining Powder Brush ($47). It appears to fold in on itself. I mean if we can fold our makeup brushes up for storage that would be so damn cool. But technically, you can’t literally fold this one up! The brushes just have an interest folded in design.

The brush features a special sculpted design that acts to hug the contours and angles of your face and makes contouring, highlighting, and powder application easy and flawless.

Estee Lauder Defining Powder Brush is available at Nordstrom.com.

P.S. We’re a few sleeps away from the Doctor Who Season 10 premiere. For the first time since I was like 8 I’m suddenly disenchanted with Doctor Who. Although, they did redeem themselves with the Holiday special so, maybe there’s hope for more awesome in S10 plus Missy is back! That’s enough to make any Doctor Who fan excited. I also heard a rumor that Damien Molony might be the next Doctor. Shut the hell, where do I sign yes on that?! There’s also rumors of a chance that we’ll finally see a female in the Tardis. But, that’s neither here nor there at the moment. First we have to get through S10 and hopefully a good S10 at that doubt.

May the fortunes fall in our favors, Whovians!
