You’re not officially American unless you’re multitasking your way through life. Driving while on your cell phone, reading your e-mail while updating your blog, texting your best friend while debating politics with your neighbor, walking while chewing gum at the same time….this is the society we live in. We have to juggle 10 to 20 different tasks a day, we can’t take time out and do one thing and proceed to follow up with another after the first task is complete, we need to do them both, together, simultaneously. If you can’t do it, you’re out of this rat race because it’s an essential skill in work and your personal life (if you have kids you need to juggle even more, say 20-30 different things).
Maybe all that multitasking has drained out into our makeup because many products nowadays promise to do everything and than some. Multitasking is the new wave of your makeup future.
For example the new Smashbox Masquerade Liquid Liner & Lash Overlay performs two functions, nope not one, this bad boy multitasks with the best of us.
I’ve held off my review on Giorgio Armani Beauty Blushing Fabric for a while now. I purchased all three shades of this blush early in July or so when it originally released. But counters had gotten a very limited stock in plus online was sold out for a little bit which is why I didn’t want to tempt and tease you with something that might prove unattainable.
I thought these were running for a limited time but two of my Armani Beauty counters have recently restocked and they are readily available again on www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com so I’d said it’s about time I told you all about them.
Want the good word?
Dude, did you hear…
Kat Von D tweeted she’s dating Jesse James.
Ok, ’nuff celebrity gossip for today.
As you know Kat Von D’s Fall Collection 2010 consists of a brand new fragrance from the tattooed goddess, entitled Adora. I just wanna say I adora you all…ha! Sorry that was screaming for me to play on it.
This is Kat’s third scent with Saint and Sinner being part of the original release. I’ve only casually sniffed both Saint and Sinner and I know you’ve wanted reviews of them for a while now, promise I’ll get on that soon.
Adora means “beloved one” in Latin which is what this fragrance is all about, a romantic, sensually sweet blend of fruits and floral.
A year or two ago Biore introduced Mandarin Blossom scented nose strips. Obviously the idea never took flight in the US. Shrug, guess we aren’t so inclined to have scented nose strips…?
I happen to be inclined which is why I snatched up some of the Biore Resort Pore Pack Nose Strips. I like scented products, sue me. While I’m sitting around waiting for plaster to dry up on my nose, it’s always pleasant to close my eyes and pretend I’m on a tropical island.
Which one of those things so do not go together right? Oh well! I dig the scent!
I love me some Vicky’s Secret. Fact is many of these body mists, in recent years, fail to last on me so I need to layer, layer, layer to get things to stick around but regardless, I still love them long time.
So in most cases, anytime they release something new, I’m on it.
Last year they did some great Love Spell single note blends but with the economy (super limited stock at stores due to the recession) as it was I was unable to grab these before they completely sold out EVERYWHERE. This year I will not fail at tracking down the new Victoria’s Secret Midnight Garden Collection Body Mists which include a new variation of my personal favorite scent, Love Spell.
