Physicians Formula #InstaReady Concealer ($10.99) is a new creamy, full coverage, long wearing concealer that launched with a blending sponge for Spring 2017 in 3 shades. Dryness has always been an issue with certain Physicians Formula concealers but no doubt all of them have always offered full coverage and many I’ve used and liked in the past. This influenced my purchase heavily and also, hey, I’m a concealer junkie no secret there.
Although, I must admit I worried this would be dry. But it didn’t prevent me from purchasing this right away.

Urban Decay Nocturnal Shadow Box ($29) is a new, Ulta exclusive eyeshadow palette that launched for Spring 2017 which includes 8 permanent Urban Decay Eyeshadows and 4 which have been released in prior palettes.

Butter London Sheer Wisdom Lush Lip Oil ($22) is a new lip oil that contains a formula infusions with Tahitian coconut oil, chia seed oil, and a blend of amino acids that firm, condition, and hydrate lips. For a while there lip oils were popping up left and right. There have been some nice ones like Essence Prettifying Lip Oil, Snoopy x Skinfood Propolis Nourishing Lip Oil, and Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Lip Oil Duo and there have been crummy ones like Milani Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment.
Recently, I noticed that lip oils are becoming tinted. Recently, Burt�s Bees Tinted Lip Oil recently launched in a range of sheer shades. This formula was nice but quite sheer so, when I noticed Butter London Sheer Wisdom Lush Lip Oil I was skeptical about trying it simply because it looked so much like the Burt’s Bees formula.

Lipstick Queen Famous Last Words Matte Liquid Lipstick ($24) is a new elastic matte lipstick formula created to allow your lips to move and breath during the wear without drying them out. I can’t say I remember Lipstick Queen ever having a liquid lipstick and as a makeup junkie who isn’t quite a fan of long-lasting lipstick I still felt compelled to purchase one as if anyone is going to do a liquid lipstick right I felt for sure it would be Lipstick Queen.
There are definitely makeup hacks to remove liquid lipstick through the day but I actually just prefer regular old lipstick or lipgloss myself. I feel somewhat constrained by wearing lipstick for 8 or more hours straight. Also, I like being able to easily wipe off any lip product I’m wearing and reapply it easily. Liquid lipsticks definitely aren’t as cut and dry as simply wiping them away. Don’t get me wrong, some formulas do impress but in most cases I find them drying and difficult to remove!
But let’s see how I feel about Lipstick Queen Famous Last Words Lipstick Lipstick!
