I don’t get blackheads anywhere on my face but the tip and sides of my nose are their playground. Nose strips help but I have two pesky ones that make a permanent home on the tip of my nose. Those suckers are so deeply embedded I need a pick and a shovel to dig ’em out!
Dude, I have tried any and all products in the Asian market to remove them. I’ve come to the conclusion that Asia is more obsessed with nose blackheads than we are because they have all sorts of crazy ass stuff to remove ’em! My favorite? The Black Head Off Stick which is shaped like a chapstick and you literally sit and rub it on your nose like a balm, yeah, I totally tried that shiz and it convinced myself it worked (CLICK!).
Holika Holika Blackhead Sponge Magic Patch is a complete gimmick so I decided, “hey, a new blackhead gimmick, let me try it!”
I’m on the hunt I’m after you…….I think that was a Duran, Duran song. I’m actually on a hunt for lighter coverage. As the Summer and the warm weather gets closer I want to start indulging in some lighter bases. I have a slew already but I like to check out all the new goodies so I can tell you all about ’em!
Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 was on my hit list first. I was out with my best friend a few weeks ago and we literally did the rounds at Macy’s stopping everywhere and picking up base product after base product. First Clinique, followed up by Chanel, Shiseido….they all have the same packaging! Dude!
Anyway let’s have a look at Moisture Surge TM and see what the deal is.
Do you think we’ll see alot of “Royal” themed makeup and beauty as April draws nearer? Everyone getting British Wedding fever?
I actually think Pirates mayhem will reign supreme, DuWop is testimony of that. In my world Doctor Who insanity will rule at the end of April, screw the Pirates and the Royal Wedding, gimme the good Doctor!
When anyone mentions the new MAC Surf Baby Collection I start singing Beach Baby by First Class but replace “beach” with “surf”…..retro song moment sorry!
But MAC Surf Baby launches soon, May 26th to be exact. It’s an exciting time because I commonly associate MAC’s first Summer Collections with the start of the actual Summer season!
Looks like we can relive Summer 2010 with the MAC My Paradise Blush, looks kinda like MAC Marine Life, you’ll see what I mean after the jump. Keep in mind what a smashing success Marine Life was so hopefully May Paradise doesn’t sell out super quickly!
Etude House Miss Tangerine Brightening Cotton Primer is an exciting release for me. It was one of the first things that popped up from this collection that got my attention and intrigued me. The idea of a primer housed in a cotton pad, well, it sounded kinda different and exciting.
Let’s check it out and see if it REALLY brightens!
