It’s undeniable that Bath and Body Works has a huge selection of body fragrance that fits every budget. Ranging from $8-$10 bucks for a large size of body spray is a deal and a half for shiz!
As Summer approaches I’m sure Bath and Body Works Body Sprays may top your list of fragrance must haves!
Bath and Body Works Body Sprays Loves It or Leaves It for you?
Click ahead for my view!
At one point I was a chronic collector of Bath and Body Works Body Sprays. Honestly, they are so dirt cheap it’s rather nice having a large selection of fragrances to choose from. However, over the years the formula seems to not be as strong as it once was so I’m kinda at the leaves it stage in life. I definitely still have a fair bit of love for them but I’m always rather picky which ones I haul. I normally wait for special ones to release such as the Temptation Collection ones and Hello Sugar. I find the LE items which are rarely released lately are the most special when compared to other standard items that are always on offer.
Although I lean towards Leaves It! I tend to also lean towards Loves It as well depending on the scent and my mood!
How about you?
Not so long ago I reviewed Givenchy Mister Bright
for you. Mister Bright was a fond friend of the Muse’s this past Winter. He brightened my eyes, made me look less tired, acted as a great primer for shadows, and just made my face glow. Recently, I was introduced to Givenchy Mister Bright Sun and now I have a new found friend. I can place Mister Bright temporarily away for the warmer weather, haul out Mister Bright Sun, and look fresh, sunkissed, and golden with a few clicks!
Check out the review after the jump!
Where as the regular shade of Mister Bright in Dawnlight is a pale, shimmering highlighter the newest shade in Sunlight is a golden, penny bronze shade that can be used on cheeks and face to create a sunkissed glow in one easy click and blend!
From my experience using the pink version of the pen I knew a little would go a long way so when I tried out the newest shade for Summer I wasn’t surprised in the least that a simple swipe would get my cheeks glowing.
If you happen to be scared of bronzers or not a big lover of matte bronzing powders, Givenchy Mister Bright Sun will be your best friend. The formula is creamy and easy to blend with a touch of a shimmery finish and a pretty coppery bronze shade that mimics that of a brand new penny. It gives cheeks and face just the right amount of a Summer sunny glow which is very natural and pretty. The end result is you’ll look like you were wandering around in the Summer sun for an hour or two but in reality a simple blend of this was all you used.
If you’re feeling a bit daring you can swipe across lids, blend, and place some shadow on top for a bright, Summery eye look!
Personally, Givenchy Mister Bright Sun tops my list for a great way to get a Summery look without ever having the step in the sun!
Keep in mind the flash from the camera picks up shimmer a whole lot more and the finish is alot less shimmery than it appears on my cheeks in the photo below.
I bet you didn’t know that you can get your nickle bag on with lip balm!
Check it after the jump!
“Hempz Herbal Lip Balm is a vitamin E based healer for chapped lips. It contains Cannibis Sativa Oil which is a rich, yet lightweight emollient that locks in moisture and has a tropical fruit scent.”
I’m not making this up that’s the details on the website. If you ever wanted a bit of cannbis sativa oil in your lip balm here’s your chance plus it’s only $4 bucks and contains an SPF.
Getting high was never so easy.
Deemed indeed a most beauty unusual find!
Burt’s Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Creme is a moisturizing cream for sun damaged and aging skin. I have neither at the moment but I was sent this to review so of course I gave it a whirl. Burt and I are good friends and I like much of what the brand has to offer however Burt’s Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Creme wasn’t particularly a fabulous find for me in regards to my face!
Find out what it did work for after the jump!
Burt’s Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Creme is extremely thick and quite waxy and greasy formula wise. Even my dry skin which normally sucks up any and all moisture it can get wasn’t too happy with this facial cream. I was quite excited when I first unscrewed the lid because I’m normally about diving into to thick creams especially ones for my face. But I did have to take into consideration it’s warmer right now and I wasn’t in need of such a highly moisturizing facial cream. I decided I’d try this as a night cream but turns out it’s far to rich to even use as a night cream. Hmmmm…what a terrible waste!
Good news is that Burt’s Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Creme isn’t particularly forgiving on my face but my rough elbows, knees, and jagged cuticles absolutely adore it. The cream is extra rich and moisturizing for my knees and elbows and it leaves behind a rather nice dewy, sheen on my legs. At $9.99-$14.99 in price for a rather nice size it’s well worth picking up for smoothing over rough skin areas such as cracked heels or feet for a quickie foot treatment, elbows, legs, and knees to whisk away dry skin and also great for moisturizing cuticles.
Even though it wasn’t working on my face, Burt’s Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Creme multitasked amazingly well as a great general moisturizer for special spots on my body plus it’s price tag and the small amount I had to use on rough areas made it a worthy beauty on a budget find.
Likey! Not a great facial cream but a rather wonderful rough area moisturizing treatment! I guess sometimes we have to find creatives uses for the things that don’t work for us and this definitely works well as a body moisturizer!
