If you hit up your drugstore for Spring makeup you’ll have some rather refreshing options in the foundation department. Both Almay and Revlon have new hydrating mineral foundation available. My recent test out with Almay Wake Up Hydrating Makeup ended rather badly but I still wanted to test our the Revlon ColorStay Aqua Mineral Makeup as well out of curiosity.
The idea behind the powders is that they give a burst of cool, refreshing finish. These are ideal placements for Spring considering your face is probably dry and suffering from the Winter blues and something cool, refreshing, and hydrating as a base would be a fab little pick. Agreed?
Sadly, Almay’s version proceeded to oxidize right on contact and offered very little in the way of coverage. Let’s check out Revlon and see if they have a better product on their hands!
I’m loving on Ed Hardy Born Wild Eau de Parfum at the moment. Ok, ok no one give me a hard time as I know some of you dislike Ed Hardy with a passion but I really love the scent.
I recently had a reader e-mail to ask me about sleeping packs. Let’s dive into the mail bag and see what she had to say!
As a chronic applier, re-applier, and collector of lipglosses, balms, potions, and lotions, I feel it’s essential that I try out the new Crabtree & Evelyn Lip Butters.
Do I need more lip products?
Naaa…sure is damn fun indulging though!
My favorite purchase to date for Spring 2011 is without a doubt the new Guerlain Rouge G Serie Noire! Adore it. What a gorgeous piece and it inspires the need for a back up in my makeup soul. It’s been a while since I felt the need to buy back up on any makeup pieces!
But this, this I’m a more than a little obsessed with.
