Nostalgia has set in and I can’t help but go back through my archives and take a gander at all the great Holiday Sets and Palettes from days of old. Tarte in particular comes to mind as having some really fabulous palettes and gift sets for the Holidays!

Here are some of those past sets, let me know which you remember and if, by some chance, they are still hiding out somewhere in your makeup vault!

P.S. Speaking of blasts from the pasts, I’m seeing Donovan tonight and can barely contain my excitement. Someone hold me down 🙂 It recently occurred to me I’ll be sitting in an audience of people in their 60’s and 70’s and trying to refrain from slingshotting my bra at his head. That’s a bad idea right?

When I was a kid my mom used to give out bubblegum flavored toothpaste paired up with a toothbrush that had some cartoon or another on it to Trick or Treaters. I remember one year it was Wonder Woman and another year there were Snork toothbrushes. Yeah, the Snorks, who remembers that? There were also Strawberry Shortcake ones. Don’t worry, my mom’s treats never went over well but my dad was right behind her Halloween baggies filled with yummy snack sizes. Thanks dad for not ruining Halloween.

I’m a lot older now and I think I’ve turned into my mother because these Bath & Body Works Halloween Pocketbacs are terribly appealing to gift to Trick or Treaters.

Question is will they go over big or will they gain a sneer.

I’m a really having hard time not overindulging in new fragrances lately. I admit I did buy Sarah Jessica Park’s new Stash fragrance, and the new McQueen perfume, and I’ve been going a little wild with Etsy Fall/Halloween fragrances, ugh…

Truly I hate this time of the year because some of my favorite indie and niche brands start releasing really great Fall themed items! For example, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab released the new Lilith Birthday Perfume Oils and soon after they’ll be launching their Halloweenies Perfume Oils.
This is hard.

So, here’s the deal, I’m putting us all on a fragrance ban. Don’t worry, you can still purchase from your fav indie brands but you aren’t allowed to purchase from mid-range fragrances.
