Yes to Introduces New Sheet Masks and Mud Masks

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

yes to sheet masks and mud masks

Yes to Tomatoes has a new range of sheet masks and mud masks for Summer 2016. The masks are $3.29 each (BOGO at Ulta.com), available in a single use pouch, and come in a variety of formulas to address different skin issues.

It’s funny as yesterday I was talking about Belif’s new gel mask being expensive at $8 for a single use but I honestly, don’t mind paying three bucks for one (even though I’d rather a box full for $10).

Let’s take a peep!

Do Not Want Philosophy Instant Miracle Worker Touch Up Stick Concealer for Fall 2016

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Philosophy Instant Miracle Worker Touch Up Stick Concealer

Let me tell you, Philosophy Instant Miracle Worker Touch Up Stick Concealer is a tasty little morsel because it carries the “Miracle Worker” name. I use and love the Philosophy Miracle Worker Skincare Collection with a passion but sorry, the concealer totally has me shaking my head vigorously in a do not want motion. I mean do you remember the horror show that was Philosophy Miracle Worker Miraculous Color Corrector & Concealer? I’m always a little scared to try new Philosophy concealer formulas because of this!

Philosophy Instant Miracle Worker Touch Up Stick Concealer ($30) is a cooling formula that promises a natural looking finish with a formula that has an easy glide and brightens up skin as it conceals discoloration, darkness, and blemishes.

I MIGHT consider trying it in store! But no blind buys for me! Sorry, Philosophy! I trust you with my skincare life but not my makeup one!

Philosophy Instant Miracle Worker Touch Up Stick Concealer is available now at Ulta and Ulta.com.

Dior Intemporalle Blush Palette for Fall 2016

Dior Intemporalle Blush Palette

I read an article recently about “needing” and “wanting” makeup. It had a list of questions you should ask yourself before you actual purchase the product to determine if you really need it or you just really wanted it. As I read through the questions I felt like Molly Ringwald taking that sex ed test in study hall.

Have you ever seen it?
Have you ever touched it?
Have you ever done it?
If you answered “I don’t think so”, would you do it?
Who would you do it with (your name is not on this so answer honestly)?

No, but seriously, there were like 20 questions you should ask yourself before a purchase to determine if you really needed to make said purchase. In my opinion, if you to question it that much, you already have your answer, you don’t need it!

My mentality is I can probably replace the 20 questions with the five from the Sweet Sixteen sex ed test and somehow this will have my answer if I need or just want the Dior Intemporalle Blush Palette for Fall 2016!

Have I ever seen it? Only online at Nordstrom.com Have I ever touched it? Not yet, but I hope to tonight! Have I ever done it? I don’t think so! I think it might be too frosty so no doing is being done! Would I do it? I’m considering it! Who would you do it with? Well, obviously, with the Dior Intemporalle Blush Palette.

Magically after asking myself these questions I knew I probably needed the palette! Actually, no, I’m still on the fence! Dior, why all the frost in your products? Now needless to say I haven’t seen it or touched it but I fear the frost badly.

But…it’s so damn pretty!

Inspired by the 1967 Miss Dior fashion collection this limited edition blush gives cheeks a burst of corally fresh pink. Not to mention it is embossed with Dior’s logo which means technically you won’t ever have to touch it because you don’t want to ruin the design!

The really question here is will Jake Ryan be waiting for me at the Dior counter when I head to Nordie’s tonight…..

Hmm…

How are you doing deciding if you need or want the Dior Intemporalle Blush Palette?

Take the quiz!

Maybe it’ll help!

Good luck!

Beauty Confession: I’m Not a Student But…

I always sign up the Container Store College Weekend Sales. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone!

Hello, I’m the Muse, I spend way too much time at the Container Store.

So, I’m like one of those people that puts everything into containers and labels those containers and puts those containers into other containers. Yeah, it’s a brutal cycle. I suspect if I become organized enough I’ll finally reach the ultimate zen state. Kinda like a Sim gaining the teleport skill after over achieving at yoga. No idea what that means? Watch more Joseph Birdsong videos.

But, anyway, you know what? I have a theory that all makeup junkies love the Container Store and Ikea. We’re always looking for ways to arrange and rearrange our makeup storage and of course, find new ones. But let’s face it the Container Store doesn’t always have any good sales.

Beauty confession, I’m not a student but I totally sign up for the Container Store College Weekend Sale anyway. No, this is not an affiliate or sponsored post even if it sounds like one! I just really like spending hours in the store particularly when I have 20% off.

So, just a heads up, you can sign up for the next sale at www.containerstore.com/collegeinvite and they’ll text you and email you the weekend of the sale. Head into the store, show ’em the text or e-mail, and snag yourself 20% off your total cost.

Simple, easy, awesomeness.

Got a beauty confession you need to get off your chest?

Share it here!

Disclosure: I wasn’t paid to post this, I’m just a Container Store junkie!

Yves Saint Laurent Rebel Nudes Set for Fall 2016

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

ysl rebel nudes set

I’m just saying no one wants the dry, nude lips that Pete Burns sported in the You Spin Me Round video. He might just be one of the reasons I’ve avoided nude lipsticks and lipglosses most of my makeup life. He was just sporting a bad case of zombie lips!

Only in the last two years or so have I embrace nude lips. I just don’t really feel very comfortable in the shade! I’ve since learned that nudes come in a variety of wearable shades and you can easily wear them without looking like rigor mortis set in!

For the 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, YSL brings together a selection of gorgeous nudes. The Rebel Nudes Set is $72 and it includes full sizes of the following:

  • Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipstick in 47 Beige Blouse
  • Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Glossy Stain in 07 Corail Aquatique
  • Plump Up Glossy Stain in 200 Plump Up

Yves Saint Laurent Rebel Nudes Set

These three products come tucked up in a black velvet, gold accented YSL makeup bag.

I’m going to buy one for myself and one for Pete Burns, I think he could use a good nude!

You can get yours at Nordstrom.com (early access today for card holders, everyone else can access it July 21st).
