Pink Flower by Pink Sugar Review
I think I might have been delirious when I purchased Pink Flower by Pink Sugar ($65) Eau de Parfum blindly online the other day. You see, I hate Pink Sugar with a passion. Remember a few years ago when everyone was absolutely bananas about Pink Sugar? Please take no offense if this is your signature scent but I can’t stand it.
It’s funny because you likely know already I really, really love sweet, gourmand fragrances. But something about Pink Sugar just makes me gag. It’s a fragrance that gets caught in the back of my throat and makes me want to cough. But of course my love of great packaging got away with me and I ended up purchasing a bottle of Pink Flower simply because the bottle was adorable. Well, that’s not entirely true! I also purchased it because I had some deep hidden hope that I’d suddenly become a Pink Sugar fan girl because somehow I feel like I’m missing out.
Aquolina created this fragrance with Pink Sugar in mind and it’s supposed to be a more sophisticated sweet floral blend. Basically, it’s supposed to be a bit more floral than the original. So, take Pink Sugar, throw in a few floral notes, and you have Pink Flower.
