Per-fekt Lip Per-fekt

I fell in love with Per-fekt Lip Per-fekt in 2014. It’s not only has a great formula but the color is such a great MLBB (my lips but better) shade! I’m one for hoarding away shades that are a my lips but better shade because they look natural and oh so pretty!

When I heard Per-fekt Lip Per-fekt had five new shades I admit I had absolutely no issues clicking submit on a big old order of all of ’em!

Yup, all of ’em!

NYX Lid Lingerie Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

NYX Lid Lingerie

NYX Lid Lingerie ($7) is a new cream eyeshadow or what the brand calls “a weightless eye tint with delicate pearl”. Does anyone remember NYX Cream Shadow? I feel like Lid Lingerie is a vast improvement on that formula.

I used to hate cream eyeshadows with a passion but I started liking them a lot because they are so simple to apply and you can get a really pretty eye look from them in seconds. Sometimes, that’s all you need when you’re rushing around in the morning like a chicken without a head you know?

Almay Age Essentials Concealer Review & Swatches

Almay Age Essentials Concealer1

Almay Age Essentials Concealer ($11.29) is a new, permanent stick concealer that launched with the Almay Age Essentials Collection recently at drugstores. Age Essentials Concealer is available in four shade selections and promises to conceal age spots and under eye circles plus it contains an SPF 20 which is a rarity in concealer formulas.

I’ve used so many stick concealers in my life but for some reason this brings me back to the old school lipstick concealers. I also typically associate these with a dry formula for some reason. I know, totally judging a book by its cover but I think stick concealer I think dry! Is that bad of me?

Wilma Schumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads4

If you have a CVS with Beauty 360 in your area you can pick up a box of Wilma Schumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads.

Insert goofy selfie of me wearing them here:

I gotta tell you, puffy eyes are totally my downfall. I’ve suffered from them forevers! The worst thing about them is sometimes only my right eye gets puffy but not my left. It’s weird to say the least. On bad days both are puffy! Blame it on old age, blame it on allergies, blame it on the fact I do evil things and sleep on my stomach with my face smashed into my pillow (do not try that at home, abort, abort! Always sleep on your side or your back!), blame it on the fact I am not drinking enough water, blame it on gaming, who knows, what it is but I’m prone to puffiness.

There is no cure for puffiness. No cream, no mask, no serum, no miracle broth that will ease puffiness. Sometimes a washcloth dipped in ice cold water and pressed under my eyes helps!

And sometimes, I get lucky and eye pads or an eye mask do a little something, something so my puffiness looks better.

Lush’s The Comforter Shower Cream Smells Like a Hello Kitty Eraser

Lush the Comforter Shower Cream

I remember when I was in the 4th grade I begged my mother for a Hello Kitty Pencil Case. Now it wasn’t any old pencil case, it was the height of pencil case technology. It had not one but two sides to store pencils plus it had a pop out draw with a sharpener and a pop out eraser too. I believe at the time it was $20 or $25 which was pretty expensive for the time.

My mom, being my mom, brought it for me along with a ton of stickers and a big old pink Hello Kitty eraser. I can remember the eraser the most! It came in a pink plastic sleeve and had a triangle tip. And it smelled amazing! So amazing in fact that all through 4th grade I didn’t use, just merely took it out to get high off the scent of it. I’m deadly seriously. I sniff of that eraser just put me in my happy place. It often got passed around the room because everyone really liked the buzz that eraser gave us. Thinking back on it, I could have been charging other 4th graders to sniff my eraser. Such a miss opportunity!

I can’t really describe the scent or at least I couldn’t until I tried Lush the Comforter Shower Cream, Shower Gel, and Bubble Bar. Because that’s exactly what the eraser smelled like! Lush Comforter!
