Most days of my life are spent relishing the release of brand new makeup. But lately I’ve noticed that I get equally excited about skincare, actually, thinking about it now, I get REALLY excited about skincare lately. Dunno what changed. Perhaps I’m a little burned out from one too many eyeshadows but I really enjoy exploring new skincare lately and I even notice I’ve been stockpiling moisturizers, cleansers, and toners like they might go out of style at any given time.
This week I’m trying out the new Lumene releases that you can check out at your local CVS.
The Muse tends to enjoy washing her face up good in the shower. I’m not a morning person so every single day I take a shower before heading out to meet the day. I simply don’t feel clean or awake if I don’t shower in the AM.
Since I’m in there washin’ up my body, I might as well go ahead and take care of my face as well right?
Jump ahead to find out what skincare is in my shower and tell me what’s in yours?
Wait, scratch that, Good Afternoon! How was your weekend? Hope everyone had a great one, feel free to share it in the comment box, curious what mayhem you all got up to this weekend during all that incredibly nice weather we had which by the very way is replaced with cold and rain today, oh joy!
Today I got a little bit more cheap coming your way with Jesse’s Girl Liquid Glass Lip Gloss.
The following giveaway is closed and a winner has been selected. Thank you for joining in!
Just a beauty reminded……….
The Body Shop LemonAid Campaign launched earlier this week at www.lemonaid.thebodyshop-usa.com where The Body Shop is taking some of life’s worst lemons such as sex trafficking and raising money for ECPAT USA and the Somaly Mam Foundation (Up To $10,000 will be donated) to help stop this awful crime.
ECPAT International has a global network of organizations committed to stopping the exploitation and trafficking of children for sexual purposes. Through enacting initiatives on local levels as well as providing support and education, ECPAT continues to advocate for children everywhere.
The Somaly Mam foundation was started by its namesake founder, herself a survivor of sexual slavery. After escaping her captors, Somaly Mam began this organization to help support other survivors as they rebuild their lives by providing emotional and economic support. Somaly Mam also creates global awareness raising initiatives to make sure that the issue of children in sexual slavery is not ignored.
I’m sure it sounds surreal to your reality but these crimes are happening everyday and The Body Shop wants to do their part to help put an end to these crimes.
