Last year, the Body Shop delighted me with the introduction of their Red Musk Perfume. Red Musk is kinda a unisex fragrance that’s warm, erotic, and with spicy notes of cinnamon and tobacco. It’s a unique, sexy, and different fragrance from the Body Shop and I was delighted with it.

The Body Shop Black Musk is a new fragrance that the brand recently launched with has me equally excited as if it is anything as great as Red Musk we’ll likely be in for a treat.

Black Musk is called a dark, sensual oriental blend with notes of bambinella pear, pink pepper and bergamot with lighter notes of helitrope and licorice and richness from black vanilla and black musk accords.

I ordered this blindly online without sniffing it in stores as I adored Red Musk so much I have little doubt that Black Musk will be equally as beautiful.

Milani Spring 2016 is now available on their site and includes the new Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment, Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection, and other goodies!

I’m excited that the Spring 2016 Collection is available online as my drugstores were kinda stripped down plus the new primers Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer was not even available in any stores I visited.

Sephora Wonderful Cushion Foundation and Sephora Cushion Glossy Eyeliner arrive for Spring 2016!

Obviously cushion makeup is going to be a bigger trend for 2016 especially at drugstores considering we got a preview of L’Oreal’s new Lumi Cushion and the Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation at drugstores late last month.

The most interesting aspect of this collection is the new Cushion Glossy Eyeliner as this formula is much like we’ve seen from the recently released Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Cushion Eyeliner although cushion eyeliner isn’t necessarily a new idea as Etude House Lock n’ Liner was available in 2014 and more recently Stila launched Got Inked Cushion Eyeliner before anyone else in the US.

I think as we head into Summer 2016 we’ll start seeing cushion blush as well since we all know that brands take an idea and run with all over the place.

New Year, new makeup primer! And Diorskin Forever & Ever Wear Extreme Perfection & Hold Makeup Base for Spring 2016 sound just the ticket. I don’t need it now as my makeup isn’t busy melting off my face in cold weather but come the Summer this fluid makeup primer sounds fabulous for all day wear.
