If you’re anything at all like your Muse your skin may be seeking a bit of extra moisture at the moment especially if you live in a cold and windy city. Although you know I’m a true Lushie I admit that sometimes I get tempted to try out new skincare which is the case with Lierac Paris Soin Eclat Express Masque. Considering I really enjoyed Lierac Paris Hydra-Chrono Extremel Balm I didn’t mine in the least giving this mask a try out.
Remember The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask? Lierac Paris Soin Eclat Express Masque kinda sorta reminds me of it.
The mask can be used in one of two ways. You can apply the mask and leave it on for 10-15 minutes and tissue off or you can apply and leave it on over night. Lierac scents it’s products quite nicely and this has a nice fresh, floral smell. The mask isn’t overly thick but has an almost gel like consistency.
All in all for use once or twice a week this is a nice skin softening treatment especially if you have dry, flaky skin however I’m unsure if I need this extra step in my skincare regime.

The Muse loves herself some Clean perfume so she’s pretty excited that the latest fragrance from Clean, Clean Simply Soap, will be debuting on HSN January 6th-8th. Set those Tivos ladies so you can snag this new scent!
Clean Simply Soap is a soft floral fragrance with a blend of Calabrian orange bergamot, Polynesian fragipani, Japanese lotus blossom, Damask rose oil, sweet voilet, and soft musk. Ok, so I admit I haven’t a clue what a fragipani is but it sure does sound good.
The scent, like all Clean scents, is an inviting comforting aroma that evokes the spirit of a soft bath robe, Egyptian cotton sheets, and a warm sudsy bubble bath!
Considering that Clean has been very adventurous lately it sounds like Simply Soap will be more of what the brand has been known to produce in the past, a good, “clean” scent.
I’ll have a review up soon but for now you can grab it at HSN using Item: 390-371 to indulge in just the scent or Item: 390-364 to get the fragrance and body lotion.

The Muse thinks it’s ok to cheap it up sometimes. Hey, we’re living in hard times here! Cheap is obviously where it’s at!
When Superdrug had a sale on MeMeMe cosmetics the Muse decided to haul it for all it was worth and take advantage of the buy two get one free deal! I’m all about cheap and English makeup!
I recently reviewed MeMeMe Pussycat Cheek and Lip Stain for you and today I’m bringing you a review of MeMeMe Shimmy Simmers Pink Shimmer Highlighter.
Excited? Read on for more excitement….
If you have a certain love (or an addiction) for Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks but don’t enjoy the price you can cheap it up with MeMeMe Shimmy Shimmers. Virtually the same product but just heaps cheaper! We like that don’t we?
MeMeMe Shimmy Shimmers are a dual product for this Muse as it can easily work as both a blusher and a highlighter. It’s nicely pigmented to create a soft flush to cheeks while adding a hint of frosty shimmer to highlight the face. The palette is made up of five color variations most of which are deeper shades of rose and pink. Together the shades create a soft pink flush that’s quite natural and pretty.
The powder comes housed in a cute pink flip top cardboard box with a full size mirror inside. I like the packaging as it’s thin and compact which makes for easy travel and most important, easy storage. The formula is pretty silky and nice although it’s name “shimmer” is misleading as I think it gives a bit of a frosty finish. I actually feel that Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks have a frosty finish as well so the entire shimmer aspect seems somewhat pointless.
I think I love this so much because it works well as a blush and a highlighter which I can’t say for many Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. This particular color combination is quite like Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Peony
which has long since been gone so if you’ve been lemming it you can replace it with MeMeMe Shimmy Shimmers!
Wearing MeMeMe Shimmy Shimmers as a blush and highlighter
All in all at £6.99 with a little bit tacked on for airmail charges I thought this was a rather nice little budget option! If you’re in England, lucky you, you can nab this at your local Superdrug! If you’re in the US head onto to your favorite forum and ask a nice Brit for a swap.
The Muse is all about approving this one for purchase!
Like it alot!
