Ulta Lip & Cheek Color Stick

Ulta Lip & Cheek Color Stick are a new four shade permanent chubby blush and lip pencil that launched recently for the Spring 2015 season. I love the idea behind multitasking, time saving products but I don’t always love actually using them in the way they were designed. Like a cheek and lip pencil sounds like such a time saver and so handy to have in my purse for quickie touch ups but my germ-a-phobic good nature has me slightly curling my lip up at the idea of using one product on both my lips and my cheeks!

Ya know?

But none the less the Ulta Lip & Cheek Color Stick actually turned out to be a one trick pony (I don’t like they way they wear on my lips so cheeks it is!) which saves me from unfortunately having to use them on both my cheeks and my lips.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel Cream Shadow

The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel Cream Shadow and Liner Trio is a new set of shimmer eyeshadows that are launching for Spring 2015 in two shade variations! I thought I’d review and do a few swatches of these after using them the last few weeks and spread the joy about them because I really am liking them. It’s a shame they didn’t release them in more shades as I’d totally be on board with grabbing a few more.

I admit part of the appeal is each set includes three individual pots of eyeshadow! There’s something terribly appealing about getting three eyeshadows in one packaging. These apparently can be used as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner. They also happen to give eyes an “extreme shimmer” finish so I was all hands on board when I heard that.

Milani Rose Powder Blush Now Permanent

Milani Tea Rose

Some folks love ’em, some don’t but Milani Rose Powder Blush are now permanent however you feel! Personally I like them! Especially Tea Rose which is a delightfully dusky rose shades that works beautifully on my skin tone.

The pretty rose design, the excellent pigment, and the silky formula have always been a win for me so I’m happy that Milani Rose Powder Blush are now permanent and available in three shades for Spring 2015.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream ($29) is a new, permanent tinted moisturizer slash foundation product that Bare Minerals recently launched for the Spring 2015 season in ten shades.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream is a gel cream that promises to combine the best of a BB Cream, CC Cream, and tinted moisturizer with an all in one that increases moisture to skin. I’m dry so I hear moisture and I get excited but I also don’t love the idea of a dewy finish foundation so it also scares me sometimes. Infused with mineral water this promises that your skin will see an increase in moisture up to 215% within a week of use. It’s formulated without oil, without silicone, and without fragrance but does have a host of skin loving ingredients like mineral water, marine botanicals, and hydrating humectants.
