The Wet n Wild No Neutral Ground Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette ($4.99) is one of three new limited edition Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes that Wet n Wild is releasing for Holiday 2013 with the new In The Spotlight Collection.
I’ve tried the Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palettes before as Wet n Wild had released them during the Summer and I thought they were positively awful. Just really badly done and they smelled horrible too! Wet n Wild has released some incredible products in the last few years but recent releases have been very hit or miss and I felt like the Medley Palettes were a huge miss and just cheap makeup at its worst.
Needless to say I went into purchasing the Wet n Wild No Neutral Ground Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette with great trepidation.
I adore Josh (JoshCollierMUA from youTube). He’s such a cutie! He recently moved to New York and will be making an appearance at Sephora Flatiron (119 5th Ave, New York, New York 10003) next Saturday, September 21st.
If you’re planning on attending you can tweet him with hashtag #ImmaculateNYC.
I’m gonna try and stop by myself to support him so hopefully I’ll see some of you there!
Miracle indeed! I’m loving the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleansing Oil! This one you’ve got to try. I think cleansing oils are so misconceived as people assume they’ll make skin greasy or oily. Prior to trying a cleansing oil several years ago I had the same notion but please don’t be put off by such silliness. Cleansing Oils are wonderful and helpful aids to remove your makeup quickly and easily.
The Maybelline Clean Express Collection launched here in the US several months ago and it includes an eye makeup remover, cleansing wipes, and even a facial makeup remover but unfortunately the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Oil Cleansing Oil is exclusive to Asia. Oh woe is me! Thankfully it is easy enough to locate across a wide variety of online shops but I’m hopeful for Spring 2014 that Maybelline might consider launching it here in the US as sadly our market is lacking a budget variety of cleansing oils!
This September the striking new Killer Queen by Katy Perry Eau de Parfum ($59) launched for the Fall 2013 season. Killer Queen by Katy Perry is the third fragrance the singer has released and is apparently completely different from prior releases she’s done.
“Killer Queen has been in my vocabulary since I was 15, because of the song ‘Killer Queen’ by Queen,” recalls Katy Perry to WWD recently. “Freddie Mercury painted the lyrics of this woman who I wanted to be. She seemed very powerful, and she captivated a room when she walked in. I named my company Killer Queen after those lyrics. I feel like, after all this time, it was appropriate to use that name in association with something I did. I feel like I’m falling, finally, into that woman Freddie painted.”
Kay explains, “When I was creating Killer Queen, I was really inspired by the idea of a strong, confident woman in power and that is exactly what I hoped to put into this fragrance, something that brings out the power inside of you.”
I’m a massive Queen fan and one of my favorite songs from the brand happens to be Killer Queen so I admit this was a key selling point of the fragrance for me.
Let’s take a look at the Killer Queen by Katy Perry Eau de Parfum.
