Y.E.T Fix You Ampoule Review

Y.E.T Yes Enjoy Time Fix You Ampoule

Y.E.T (Yes! Enjoy Time) is a fairly new Korean brand that I decided to give a try out to recently and it all started with Y.E.T Fix You Ampoule.

Y.E.T Fix You Ampoule comes in a range of three formulations to address a variety of skin concerns. Providing moisture is one of the main benefits of these ampoules. Considering I have drier skin that was definitely a good thing for me.

Canmake Perfect Serum BB Cream Review & Swatches

Canmake Perfect Serum BB Cream

If you’re currently shopping BB Creams for Summer wear might I direct you towards Canmake Perfect Serum BB Cream? Canmake Perfect Serum BB Cream is available in two shades with a whooping SPF 50 built right in.

Canmake is a lower end, budget Japanese cosmetic brand and typically I dislike Japanese BB Creams with a passion as most are too yellow for my skin and they typically have a super thin formula when compared to the creamier, richer texture of Korean ones.

However, Canmake definitely won my heart with this. I’ve been using it since it launched, probably a year or so ago? And it’s one of my favorite BB Creams from Japan.

Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez Eyeshadow Pencil Summer 2013

As you know the Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez 12 HR Wear Eyeshadow Pencils ($6.99) launched online yesterday and I swatched them for you earlier this week.

Finding Content on Musings of a Muse

My “new” template is actually getting older now but I thought I’d share some tips and tricks on how to find content on Musings of a Muse today so you can have the best user experience possible on my site.

There are SO many ways to search through the archives and older posts and you might not be utilizing them.

So this is a little discussion of how you can find your fav brands, search for reviews, etc….

Clickable Categories and Tags

Search by Tag

One of the best features of my site in my opinion are the category tags. Every single post features clickable tags below the post title. See the photo above for an example as it contains tags for Asian Brands, Beauty Abroad, Blush, Japanese Brands, Majolica Majorca, Make-up Reviews, Muse Approved, Swatches…you can click any of these tags and similiar posts will be available for you to browse through!

Nifty right?

Search by Brand

Search by Brand
If you look towards the right hand side of the site you’ll see some pull down menus that allow you to search by brand. I’ve categorized these into four sections which include:

  • Drugstore Brands (Almay, Covergirl, Revlon, L’Oreal, etc….etc…etc….can all be found here)
  • Mid-Range Brands (Urban Decay, Lorac, Bare Minerals, etc….etc….can all be located here)
  • High-End Brands (Givenchy, Dior, Guerlain, etc….are all here)
  • Seasonal Collections (Spring 2007? Summer 2008? All seasonal collections are located here)

Simply drop down the menu, click the brand you want, and EVERY single post I ever did for that brand will appear in your browser.

Muse Approved, Beauty on a Budget, and a Daily Dose of Beauty

Muse Approved
Want to know some of the products that are really doing it for me? Click on the Muse Approved icon located on the right hand side of the blog and you’ll be magically whisked away to things I love. While you’re hanging out over there do check on the Beauty on a Budget and Daily Dose of Beauty tags too!

These are just some of the cool ways to search through the site!

I’ll cover more in another post soon!

Have fun storming the castle!

Majolica Majorca Cream de Cheek Liquid Blush Review & Swatches

Majolica Majorca Cream de Cheek Liquid Blushes

Majolica Majorca Cream de Cheek Liquid Blush were launched in four shades last year but I never got a chance to review them and that’s a shame because they are a fantastic product.

Although available for a limited time they are still very easy to get from a variety of online shops. These are a liquid blush the likes of which has never been done before by Majolica Majorca.
