Kora Organics Turmeric Glow Moisturizer is a new, ultra-hydrating and refillable facial moisturizer created to plump skin while smoothing, calming, and leaving it radiant. Calming skin is a bit ironic due to the fact this contains peppermint. Damn so much lost potential here.
Kora Organic’s housed this in a jar which isn’t everyone’s favorite packaging but the jar is very luxurious and it is refillable make for less waste. The moisturizer formula also starts off incredibly well with Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate being the very second ingredient featured in this moisturizer but right after that we have Mentha piperita aka peppermint. Peppermint can be sensitizing as well as irritating to certain skin types.
It’s formulated with moisturizing ingredients with the promise to restore the glow to your skin with turmeric which is known to brighten but that peppermint might have a lot of users second guessing it. I was actually very tempted to try this but I had to remind myself how disappointing the Kora Organics Noni Radiant Eye Oil. I mean if the peppermint didn’t sway me not to buy it my experience with the Kora Organics Noni Radiant Eye Oil easily reminded me why I shouldn’t be dishing out $58 on this new moisturizer!
As I said above the jar is refillable. A single purchase with the jar is $58 and holds 1.69 oz of moisturizer. The refill is $46 for the same 1.69 oz amount.
You’re bound to run across this splashed all over social media but do your research on peppermint before slathering it all over your face.
