Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm is available in five new, limited edition shades for Spring. I recently picked up the Coral Crush Baby Lips Balm as I can’t resist anything in coral, orange, or peach (you know my addiction well don’t you?).
I’m not a terribly big fan of Baby Lips but they seem to evolved a little since I last tried them out.
NYX Matte Finish Long Lasting Setting Spray is one of two new setting sprays the brand introduced for Spring 2013. These are 2 oz bottles for $8 each.
I’m a little iffy on Setting Sprays as I’m always sorta wary of spritzing a just made up face with what is essentially water combined with some other ingredients. It’s kinda like, wait, hold on a second, I just did my makeup now you want me to mist myself madly with water? Ummm no…!
But actually some do have benefits. Particularly if you’re a mineral girl or you use powder to set. A small amount of setting mist actually will give your makeup a more refined finish and in some cases they really do prolong the wear of makeup.
I have a very deep love of horror movies, gore, and being scared silly. I’ve collected issues of Fangoria from as far back as the age of 11 much to my mum’s complete confusion.
But funny thing is I’m a complete wuss. It’ll take me three or four hours to get through a ninety minute horror film because I have to pause through those parts where something jumps out at you. Or I’ll sit there watching the movie through a blanket over my head. I just hate that feeling of something jumping out at you suddenly and giving you a heart attack. That’s seriously not a great experience.
I’ve watched some foul stuff in my time particular gory foreign films but stuff jumping out at me, can’t do it.
Here’s a clip Eli Roth tweeted today that really cracked me up.
Needless to say if I was sitting in a salon having my hair done and some scary azz girl popped up in the mirror I’d hightail it out of there. No explanations.
