Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy for the Dry Under Eye Girls and Guys

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer is finally having it’s worldwide launch! You can snag it now at tartecosmetics.com and I’m sure it’ll work it’s way to the normal outlets like Sephora and Ulta soon!

You may know this got an early launch on QVC several weeks ago! You might have even picked it up as I did post about it. It’s nice to see it finally going more mainstream though!

I feel like I’ve been waiting for a hydrating, creamier version of Shape Tape most of my life. Don’t get me wrong I still love and use the original Shape Tape! It’s my HG (holy grail) concealer of choice but I’ve always wished they’d do a more hydrating version as I do have drier eyes. Lucky enough, the matte finish of the original never gave me issues. No creasing, no caking, it’s always worn beautifully for me but I wouldn’t say no to a hydrating version.

But….

Pigment is always a major problem when it comes to hydrating concealers and pigment is Shape Tape’s signature selling point. I always feel like the more hydrating a concealer formula is the less pigmented it is. Creamier formulas tend to sheer out and offer mediocre coverage!

Have you tried Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy already when it originally launched on QVC?

What did you think?

Are you going to grab this new formula?

God Damn It The Peeps Have Finally Infiltrated the Makeup World ABORT ABORT! PULL BACK TROOPS!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I knew this day was coming! I’ve spoke about numerous times in the past! The Peeps have finally infiltrated the makeup world! We’re ALL DOOMED! This has been coming for a while now and I’ve been watching, waiting, and preparing for P-Day and it’s finally arrived.

The Peeps are here.

Our time on Earth is very limited. They pretty much invaded everything else! Coffee Creamer, Milk (Yes, there’s flavored Peep milk), toys, candy, shower gel…they have slowly and steadily invaded every corner of the market and you know what? They aren’t seasonal! They aren’t here for Easter and gone within a month! Absolutely not. They come around Halloween and they come around Summer in jolly watermelon flavors….! They are everywhere and now they are in the makeup world.

Believe me when I say one day you’re going to wake up and there’s going to be a President Peep! It’s just a matter of time.

This Spring there invading our makeup world with the HipDot Peeps Pigment Palette and Hipdots Peeps Makeup Sponge Set! Awww so cute you’re all saying and thinking but wait, they have an evil agenda and it’s to take over the world!

Tatcha The Silk Powder Protective Setting Powder Arrives Today

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Tatcha The Silk Powder Protective Setting Powder ($48) arrives today at sephora.com. Rouge gets early access to this new talc-free setting powder that acts to blur pores while protecting skin from blue light and pollution.

This silky fine powder contains silk extra and silk powder that act to retain moisture balances and smooth skin while blurring imperfections and pores and reducing shine.

I don’t really use facial powder that much as I like more natural coverage and I feel like powder accentuates my drier skin horribly. But I admit Tatcha The Silk Powder Protective Setting Powder has me intrigued.

Do I need it? No.

Do I want it?

Yes.

Tatcha The Silk Powder Protective Setting Powder is available now.

Where to buy

Sephora

Here’s What The New Dunkin Avo Toast Tastes Like Because Some Of You Did Ask

Quite a few of you asked me how the new Dunkin Donuts Avo Toast tasted and if I liked it after I posted about it in my prior post earlier this week. Fear not! I’m here to give you the scoop!

I’m an expert at paying $18 and upwards for a fancy Avo Toast. I honestly don’t think we have Avo Toast in New York that costs less than $18 unless of course, you make it yourself. But typically the Avo Toast around here is an experience. It’ll be served on a thick, crusty loaf of bread and it’ll be topped with egg or other tasty vittles.

Dunkin Avo Toast is actually a much more affordable option at $3 bucks! They even went and put it in a special box so the avo isn’t spread all over the place.

What’s it taste like?

Well…

Bath and Body Works Hawaiian Themed Scents Are Boring but Hibiscus Paradise Caught My Eye

I admit I was going to right this snarky little post about Bath and Body Works Hawaiian scents being back for Spring 2021. It was going to be a grumpy pant points about how tired the whole tropical scent thing was! There was going to be ranting, pissing, moaning, and an occasional angry fist shaken at Bath and Body Works to stop repeating their themed collections.

But they went and released Hibiscus Paradise in a perfume and I forgot my anger for a moment!

I gotta admit I’m sorta feeling the love for Bath and Body Works Hibiscus Paradise. Don’t kill me?

It contains notes of pink hibiscus, juicy guava and coconut how can I not fall in love with this? Who remembers that year Bath and Body Works did a bunch of mini Let’s Go to Hawaii EDPs? I still have them in my beauty closet somewhere! It was back in 2015!

I’m glad they decided to do a new perfume as I feel they are sadly lacking in perfumes. But 2020 they did redeem that with quite a few releases! I just wish they’d do more of them!

Bath and Body Works Hibiscus Paradise Perfume is available now.
