I can’t help but think of thee Jack Black whenever I’m browsing Sephora and something from the Jack Black Collection pops up and than I proceed to get an ear worm and I start humming and singing, “Dude, I totally missed you!”
(Not work or kid safe, you’ve been warned)
True story but shrug….where that comes from I haven’t a clue!
Speaking of Jack Black, the Intense Therapy Lip Balms come in two new, limited edition flavors. I’m still trying to puzzle over the fact why people LOVE these so much but if you’re a fan do take the jump!
Someone obviously boarded the DeLorean and took a trip to the 80′s because, suddenly, this Summer, feather hair extensions are the IT accessory. My sister wore them in 1984, I have the pic to prove it although I can’t share as I’m saving it for some bigger and better blackmail scheme in the future!
Groan.
With a bottle of jack and some swagger, I’m imaging it was Ke$ha who unintentionally brought the trend back after her unexpected trip to the past. Hopefully she didn’t bring back leg warmers with her because no way in hell am I making that happen.
Cleansing Oils in a Western market, the final frontier, these are the voyages of cleansing oil in the US….
Asian Cleansing Oils are plentiful. From drugstores to high end counters, from cheap as chips to expensive as bloody hell, you’ll find a cleansing oil to suit any taste in the Eastern market.
Sadly, the US market seems to be the final frontier when it comes to cleansing oils as we have a few but most are from mid to high end brands and it’s not the huge selection you’d see in Asia. Cleansing oils are still yet an unknown, unexplored cleansing option for most American women.
I still haven’t figured out why the hell that is.
Lucky enough, Philosophy does take on the vast unknown and comes out with new Purity Made Simple Facial Cleansing Oil.
At the beginning of my makeup life and most of my older one I absolutely hated cream eyeshadows for some reason. I just couldn’t stand them. Perhaps it was my lack of patience during application of such a medium or the fact they tended to crease like crazy (circa BUDPP, “Before Urban Decay Primer Potion) but I avoided them like the plague.
I became enamored with them when I discovered the joy of Visee Quad Shining Eyes and ever after that faithful day creams have been a staple of my eyeshadow life.
For Summer 2011, Guerlain introduced three shades of Terra Inca Ombre Fusion Cream Eyeshadow in warm, gorgeous hues to compliment your tan.
At least I think it’s here. We had a rather uneventful Spring with lots of rain and Summer kinda raced in to the point that AC is absolutely essential, SPF in large quantities should be worn, and a lightweight Summer fragrance needs to be picked out ASAP.
Just a word to the wise this is why we have pools people. The beach has seaweed, unknown species of Jelly Fish that may or may not be related to the Kraken, and sand that will get up in your business.
Anyway….
’bout that lightweight Summer fragrance we all need!
L’occitane Pivoine Flora Eau de Parfum might be just the ticket and hopefully it keeps Jelly Fish at bay or at least works on their sting if you happen to subject yourself to the evil wiles of the beach.
