It’s not Halloween but Lush Ectoplasm Body Spray is one of several new fragrances that launched on the Lush US which were previously available in the UK back in December. Yes, I am a little addicted to these damn body sprays and feel the need to collect them all and if you haven’t tried Let the Good Times Roll yet well, we can’t be friends anymore. Contract terminated.

Just kidding! But Let the Good Times Roll is the sh1t just sayin’!

Lush Ectoplasm was originally a Halloween Shower Gel. I believe they launched it back in 2018 and I think it’s come back ever after that for the past few Halloweens as I recall. I know, I’m bad! I don’t really pay too much attention to Lush Seasonal Collections lately because I have SO MUCH bath and shower stuff to get through!

Out of all the Lush fragrances I didn’t think Ectoplasm would be turned into a fragrance mist for the Spring 2021 line but hey, I’m all about it because it smells amazing!

Lush Keep It Fluffy Perfume has returned! My god how I’ve waited for this day. Keep It Fluffy was one of the original Be Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful fragrances and it’s gorgeous! Over the years Lush UK has slowly brought back a lot of the scents from the B Never days and I’ve always waited and waited for the return of Keep It Fluffy but the day never came.

To this day I remember the gorgeous vanilla and rose scent. It’s so unique and so gorgeous.

And Lush UK has finally brought it back!

And I’m heart broken.

Some very odd looking Pat Mcgrath EYEdols Eye Shadow popped up at Costco today!

But first a little back story…

When COVID started we got a Costco Membership. Yes, a Costco Membership. This from two people who used the fridge to store bottle water. Needless to say we used to eat out a lot or order in if we were ever home. Travel, socializing, etc…left us with an empty fridge most of the days of our lives but when the pandemic struck we decided that a Costco Membership was needed. We needed to be prepared because we knew the zombie plague was upon us and everything we had planned for the big day wasn’t implemented. Were we ready for the zombies? Did we have enough food? Enough cans of soups? Twinkies?

We were not prepared but Costco would prepare us.

No, but seriously we did actually get a Costco membership during the pandemic. We travel a lot and we don’t stay home often so having lots of food on handy was a bit wasteful but nowadays we do Costco hauls (And we cook food on the stove in our kitchen! Who even knew you could do that?). There’s something to be said about buying big boxes of toilet paper that last you a year. It feels very adult-like shopping at a warehouse store that sells bulk bins of grapes and fifty can cases of soup.

Costco also sells cool stuff like makeup and skincare. But I gotta admit when Pat Mcgrath popped up the website I raised a brow! These do not quite look like the EYEdols Eyeshadow we know and love. One good plus is the fact that they have eliminated all the wasteful sequins these typically come packaged it. That’s cool however, the casing is completely different. EYEdols Eyeshadow has a more rounded case and these are flat. Hmmmm….! Honestly at $9.99 each I’d say get them at patmcgrath.com for $12.50 instead as these look a little off!

Tarte Tartelette Juicy Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette is a new Spring 2021 eyeshadow palette featuring 20 brand new Tarte Eyeshadows in rosy and bronze shades! It’s stunning and obviously based off the Holiday 2020 Lil’ Juicy Palette includes in the Tartelette Give, Gift, Get Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Wardrobe! YSL Beauty Rouge Sur Mesure is a new custom lipstick shade device that allows you to mix different shades. The Bluetooth-enabled device contains three different lipstick color pods in a velvet cream matte finish that can be mixed and match to create a unique shade of lipstick. Each lipstick pod slips into the unique and when activated the color flows from the pods into the top portion of the Rouge Sur Mesure device. The top portion of the unit is a compact of sorts and can be removed and stashed away in your makeup bag for touch ups.

This is a fun, fun idea because I think we’ve longed for the days that we had some sort of awesome technology to create different shades of lipstick for us but you aren’t going to be Cher in Clueless with this thing (remember her cool computer that put together outfits for her and spit them out of her closet) nor Leeloo from the Fifth Element that had that brilliant device that instantly applied eyeshadow flawlessly on her eyes!

I call gimmick. Sorry YSL.
