Hey, kid, rock ‘n’ roll, rock on! Ooh, my soul Hey kid, boogie, too, did ya? Hey, shout, summertime blues Jump up and down in my blue suede shoes Hey, kid, rock ‘n’ roll, rock on!
While I was on holiday I went to this incredible pub that did all vintage rock musical requests. You basically wrote the artist and song on a paper, slipped it into the glass jar on top of the piano, and they’d randomly fish a paper out and rock out to whatever was on it. It was incredibly cool because the guy singing/playing the piano had a rather incredible voice. I was kinda all in my glory as he was doing all vintage rock which happens to be my favorite genre. Kansas, Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, Hagar, Queen, etc…you name it and this guy was rocking it. I was all kinds of excited as many of my requests were honored but that could be because I basically submitted like a hundred papers at a time, the guy was laughing himself silly at my requests.
He did a little David Essex as well. What no one really knows or appreciates is David’s great rock anthem Rock On was not written by Michael Damian (HUH!?). Contrary to some sort of odd idea this song isn’t Michael Damian’s song….insert rolling eyes here, seriously?!
Anyway, this reminded me of the fact that Benefit Rockateur is launching soon! Yes, a brand spanking new powder blush from Benefit. Am I excited? Hells to the yes!
Makeup-less, jet lagged, confused about the time zone, puffy eyed, and ready to grab some shut eye but I thought I’d say a quick hello and tell you I missed you all so much! I literally just stepped through my door not 20 minutes ago proceeding to throw my luggage on the floor, wash my face, and I’m pretty sure everything else can wait until I’ve grabbed a few Zzzzs!
Talk to you all shortly!
P.S. Yes, I know about the new Doctor! The bookies in London were having a field day with it! But more on that later……!
I just wanna know where the starfish is returning from. Did he go on a trip? Was it far away? Out of space? Europe? Just around the corner? Don’t starfishes move really slow…did it take him a long time to return? Questions like this keep me up at night.
One of the first BB Creams I ever tried was Shills 8 in 1 BB Cream. I absolutely adored it to say the least so anytime they release something new I’m right on top of it. The Shills Perfect Cover BB Cream isn’t entirely new but it is one of their more recent BB Cream releases that I’ve been using most of the Summer.
